Every time it goes out somoene posts on here asking which one it is…

Best marketting tool in the world!
It was the dirty brown and white C172, I think I met the Chipmunk pilot-ess at one point on the gate…
A good day all round, I feel. Flew in in G-BNRR, did some refereeing (I was the blonde one taking money off you at the gate), went for a bit of a wonder around then upped and flew back.
Anyone get any snaps of RR?!
Lots of tech issues. Vulcan, Lanc, One of the Gnats, one of the Aerostars, Sea Vixen…
…good show though. Pics to follow…
*cough* Market Saturation *cough* ?!
That would explain why all the engineers were sat in the cafe in the terminal at EGLF this afternoon…
Definately an Electra. Location?
I concur. Given the terrain if it was turning at any great speed i’d expect to see more bits. Possibly a lateral twist to it also. But seeing the other prop blade would help.
That was awesome :->.
Flew past my office this morning…got pictures to proove it :->.
As far as I am aware – she was last seen at Cov looking sorry for herself outside H7.
Classic Flight are kind of busy with the Dak farewell tour at the minute…
Don’t forget also the air museum hold regular events – okay not flying displays but certainly yesterday Lindy went for a trip down the runway, and I think one of the Bucc’s were out too.
I drove past about 1200 yesterday and saw a load of fire engines around Lindy, don’t think she ran today. Hope everything was ok, I thought the jet runs were going to be both days but when I went past (about the same time) today there didn’t look to be any action. Ollie?
I will check on the details later on but this is my current understanding:
A request for planning permission was lodged a few months ago to expand and develop the industrial estate around the museum. To the best of my knowledge the museum was unaffected by the expansion but may be by the anciliary landscaping. This is my recollection from a dinner table conversation with my dad who’s involved with the local parish council, i’ll try and get more specifics tonight.
Thanks DeHavEng, I’m not an engineer by trade and am more interested by the ops/management side. Will J – replied by PM. Thanks for your replies.
Atlantic Airlines now operate the electra – last time I checked they had 6, G-LOFB,C,D,E, G-FIJR and FISU. JV was taken off the flying program about a year ago following on from corrosion – the intention was for it to supply the rest of the fleet with the potential of it being restored to flight, or some such.
