😎
that drawing is not accurate, the J-20 cockpit is way too narrow and small. if you enlarged it to the same size as the F-22 cockpit, it would be bigger
Here is the bigger one 😉
as I thought, looks pretty nice in pure grey, except that dark spot around the cockpit
I did photoshop on PAK FA (just F-22 like color scheme for easier comparison) and J-20 photo is real deal.
got a bigger picture of your photoshop?
East Germans and Serbs (M84) can be of quite decent size too..
But that said i doubt FC-1 is really all that, else ROCAF wouldnt be so desperate to persuade Uncle S to sell them more F-16s…
we are talking about the C and D model and ROCAF doesn’t operate FC-1
😉
tangerine falcon, where did you find that picture of an all grey Pak-fa?
in addition to being longer, J-20 is also much taller
F-22 relative to ground crew

J-20 relative to ground crew

Isn’t that the plane taller pilots (i.e. non-Chinese) have a problem squeezing into?
they said that about the T-72 but huge Polish men have been able to fit it
🙂 oh boy oh boy…
Are you guys trying to pull a prank on me collectively? You kids 😀 Each of you is taking one line from by 6-7 posts and responding according to your bias without reading the topic (even though sometimes I am sarcastic), I guess 🙂
no, you have an international consortium of Russian, European, Chinese, etc members who all agree you’re logic sucks, especially as you’re relying on the same eyeballing analysis.
India/Saudi will have more powerfull airforce than all of EU members.
Saudi – only on paper. In reality they don’t use most of their aircraft and most of them rot away because they’re not properly maintained. They also rely heavily on foreigners to fly their aircraft as well as random princes.
India – you could argue they are already more powerful than a majority of EU air forces. Very few have their own AWACS or heavy lift transport abilities, and only two have a full fledged aircraft carrier.
Turkish procurement is extremely slow and dysfunctional. and country will be taken over by islamist/kurd majority.
Kurds are only 25 percent of the population and turkey has plans to move them into iraq and syria. Turkey is buying lots of stuff.. awacs, 5th gen aircraft, new trainers, etc. They are an N11 country.
Does it still looks like an interceptor?? All interceptors need those canards and wing span 😉
interceptors have many types of wings

J-20 overlap with J-8 using canopy and pilot size as reference. J-20 slightly longer if counting the engine as the end, but the J-8 tail sticks back further

Yes, Mi-24Ps to be more precise. Besides internals you can observe following differences:
Mi-24P
– twin-barrel fixed GSh-30-2 cannon mounted on the side
– retractable landing gear
– three-bladed tail rotor
– bent wings with three hardpoints eachMi-35M
– twin-barrel 23mm cannon mounted in front
– fixed landing gear to save weight
– four-bladed X-shaped tail rotor
– shorter wings with two hardpoints each
thanks for an actually useful reply
Are you able to read? Then re-read his original post.
i see it now, but if he didn’t label it.. how can you tell the difference between the models? from that picture they look the same sans the wheels.
I was looking at some pics of a Burke class destroyer, and I gotta say, the Vik’s engineering panels do not look particularly decrepit compared to these:
http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/6500/122475510.5/0_6a44c_55db4c6a_orig
whats wrong with those panels?
Because Mi-35M can’t retract landing gear, it is fixed.
so the green ones are Mi-24 not 35?
