RE: Liverpool John Lennon Airport
It could have been worse it could have been named……cilla black airport 🙂
RE: air rage
No problem, do you work for an airline?
RE: Regional airlines
I work as a steward with crossair and I do have to say that there idea of a service during the flight leaves a lot to be desired. They have a meal plan which consists of 26 different services. Depending on the route and time of day these meal plans are put into effect. But they do not take into account how long the flight is. So if you have a flight of say 30 mins, you would get the same level of service and differnt courses for a flight of 2 hours.
This leaves the cabin crew to run up and down throwing food and drink at the passenger and then back again taking it pff the pax because they are about to land.
Is this the correct way to treat passengers who pay soooooooooooo much for a ticket.
The swiss are crazy crazy crazy
RE: Best airline
If they were still in the skies I would have to say that it was DanAir. Now adays I dont really know…. probably Air 2000
RE: Is this the end, my only friend, the end???
The last I heard which was yesterday is that SR can no longer afford to invest in Sabena due to the huge huge huge debt they are in and if they continue to do so then SR will be forced into bankrupcy. Pity they have awful uniforms
RE: BAe 146/Avro RJ
I am a steward with crossair and am fortunate to work on this plane 100%.
It is very good to work in and travel both as crew and passenger. The view from the cockpit during take off and landings is amazing. The seats in this company are bigger and made of leather which give the plane a bigger than normal look. Because the wings are above the plane it also handles better during take off, landings and in turbulance.
RE: air rage
Because of the cabin pressure the alcohol seems to affect the drinker quicker in the air than it would on ground, so far I have been lucky and not had any drunk passengers. But I know of crew in my compnay who have been attacked and in one case the stewardess and first officer were both punched unconcious by a drunk passenger.
