Nice one Scotty, you can get southside by car and only a 2 second walk to the mound (further down to the left from you were) It’s a 10 min drive into the country, mind you don’t know how you would park an Extra Long Sprinter Van there

Brilliant Paul, looks like you hit gold! Of all the times I have been there, only once have the landers been in that direction and I was lucky to be at the same spot as you with great weather as well. The spot you were at is just perfect for photography!
Did you get the IS version of the 70-200 F4?

    Heyy!

Sorry for the double post, but I just found out that there is apparently A Third Dreamlifter Being Assembled / built. So this could mean more regular visits from it at Prestwick?

    Can’t wait. 😉

I agree with PNM’s first reply 100%. There are no iffs and buts, buying a more expensive camera will not automatically gurantee better results. There are so many people out there who buy a DSLR, put it into Auto or Programme mode and hope for the best! Don’t get me wrong, the odd time you will get a half decent shot, most of the time the results will be very average.
Do me one thing, learn all about how to use Shutter Priority and Aperture Priority Modes, learn what they mean and what they will do, this will guarantee better photos!!

That AN12 looks suspiciously like the ex-Vega new livery? The blue version of there’s! Is this true or am I thinking of something completely different??!! 🙂

It used to belong to Vega, LZ-VEC C/N 6344610

    Sam,
There is also a Premier Inn & a Travel Lodge within 5 minutes of the terminal building. If you want to know the best places for photo’s, I dare say that some of the locals would be more than happy to show you around.
Have a look at http://www.egpk.com for info as well

I thought the DC10 was away, i shot it on thursday night in poor light. Knew about the AN12, but thought it would be in standard bland white scheme 😡 my miss.
    good work.

It’s usually me who misses the good ones mate, glad I got this one 🙂

To the best of my knowledge, the 146 was going to new owners, I’ll try and confirm this 100%
