The thing is that, how much commonality they share, you can’t simply interchange stuff between F-101 and F-110. As MadRat seems want to put Bomber engine into a fighter.

So, why B-1 runs with F-101 engine instead of PW-220 or something like that ? Will the new B-21 runs with F-135 ? or can F-135 core directly transplanted to B-21 engine ?

Is it so hard to understand that these fighters and bombers have different needs for their respective engine.

Except that for whatever Russian, you will have to deal with Rosoboroneksport. and later Rosoboroneksport will appoint local country agent. Which in our earlier Flanker, was handled by Trimarga co.

There is no real “G2G” deal in here.

Not Yet Berkut… i foresee possibility of another long term drama on Su-35 for Indonesia. The price might be agreeable. But there are other factors like who will act as funding agent. You know in Indonesia we have a term called as “Bank Garansi”/ Guarantee bank. this is kinda hard to settle partly due to western sanctions that made it difficult to find anyone who want to deal with Russia.

    But yeah, pray hard.

315 ft long and 42 ft diam. with larger horsepower than 45000 Shp Seawolf. it would be about 8200 metric-ton class surface. assuming Reserve of Buoyancy of 10% typical US Sub, submerged displacement would be 9020 ton. Assuming half volume of it (like 4000 cubic meters) allocated for propulsion. Seems like 50000-60000 Shp plant is possible, and this could drive the boat with speed about 40 Knot at 60000 Shp.

Given the emphasize of high speed, apparently this kinda mimic Soviet deployment of P-705 Lyra (Alfa class). Cruising at such high speed tho, expect cavitation noise to be dominant.

    Their AESA looks nice.

1000 modules. assuming 10 Watt peak is 10 Kilowatt peak power total. range of some 120 km vs 3 sqm RCS target is achievable assuming 120 deg scan and some 15 deg (4 bars) vertical scan. The width of the antenna is about 61 cm. assuming half wavelength spacing.

    you’re welcome.

It always be good to include means to allow readers to use data or diagram you provided to make their own calculations.

    Nice work.

Im curious tho why don’t you post range equation for Infra red sensor ?

Im curious if the NK missile have terminal seeker.

Anyway for sake of it.. i brew another excel spreadsheet, based on Fleeman’s tactical missile design book. It’s to estimate accuracy of a missile with mid course update. I tailored itu for ballistic missile use.

    http://www.mediafire.com/file/aqc8oly4c06fegm/AShBMAccuracy.xlsx

Very simple, and well clearly shows that some kind of mid course update is needed for smaller acquisition box for the missile’s terminal seeker. smaller acquisition box means smaller seeker as it requires less power, lesser antenna movement, and perhaps lesser processing as the seeker only need to find smaller area.

I made it for DF-21 case but. clearly it would be applicable for NK case.

Who wrote that 2D aircraft radar article.

All aircraft fire control radar around be it AESA or conventionals are pulse dopplers with some addition of low PRF MTI modes.
