Oh dear, I seem to have got my facts in a tangle, my apologies to all concerned, it was meant well, however wasn’t there a German Battlecruiser, possibly that fought at Jutland, that ended up in Turkey during WW1 and was scrapped as recently as the 70’s.
How can we keep this on an aviation thread, did it have seaplanes, was it called the Seydiltz, my brain has collapsed today unfortunately.
