american conventional forces arent all that wonderful, when was the last time the US went 1v1 with even a HALF equal opponent?

the Blackjack has a powerful ECM suite onboard too, and if i recall correctly the aircraft feature a terrain following system that flies the plane at Mach .85

the aircraft is also designed much more stealtly than the B-1B, as someone mentioned earlier in this thread..

and ur comment on the production line not starting is false, as russia is expecting 1 Blackjack delivered this year and 2-3 more next year. sounds like production.

ultra low level B-1B faster than Tu-160? where r u getting this? :S

and the max speeds can’t be compared (something like 700km/h apart)

And anyone commenting on the topic of the Kh-15/AS-16 Missile?

Can’t say the Russian military has it bad 😛 The guy who represents some part of the Russian military here (Russian Embassy, New Delhi) drives a new E Class Mercedes.

(I’m Russian, but not with the embassy, dad is on business here).

Remaining one laid up? What’s that mean.. ? That’s Lazarev btw.. while I agree that Ushakov should be scrapped (probably too rusty to float) but Lazarev and Nakhimov should really be recommisioned.

The Tu-22M3 can carry more bombload than the Tu-95 if I am not mistaken. 24T vs 20T.

now now, let us not forget the:

SS-N-12 Sandbox (fast, huge range and 1000Kg of explosive isn’t to be overlooked)
SS-N-19 Shipwreck (AEGIS evasion features, long range, big warhead, fast)
AS-16/Kh-15 Kickback (Mach 5.. how come no one mentions this missile?)
AS-4/Kh-22M (huge warhead/range and soon to be made into the even better Kh-32)
