    I took this at the Museum of Army Flying last December. It looked a lot better 10 minutes later when I was driving away!

    Surely Hairyplane`s Ryan PT22 thread comes under the same category, but does not appear to have generated the same debate. :confused: Personally I have no problem with either post!

    I`m pleased to have brought back memories. The photo was taken on 30/3/63, which was probably Grand National Day. This was one of the few days when you saw more than three aeroplanes in a whole day!

    Yes,only two though.Apart from the work being done at the front, a man was painting D-Day stripes around the rear fuselage.It`s very hard to get good pictures because it`s so dark and the `planes are rather squashed in at one end.
