    Last standard Kurnass went 1994.

Kurnass 2000 and RF-4E Oref retired May 2004. They were replaced by F-16I.

The Obey Amendment forbids the US from exporting the F-22 Raptor – it isn’t an option.

Makes sense, the F-111 are to be retired in 2010.

Australia has signed on. They are also talking about buying 24 Super Hornets to bridge between the F-111 and F-35.

Taiwan also went as far as ordering 34 C.7 and 6 TC.7, then canceled and replaced by Mirage and F-16.

I thought that certain times of the day, the ionosphere is unusable by HF radars such as Jindalee?

All I can find is that the maximum range varies depending on conditions. Max range might be 4000 km, with demonstrated range of 3000 km. It was used in 1999 and tracked Hercules landing in East Timor. The arrays are set up so the minimum range is the Australian coast. The arrays also look towards the NE, N and NW.

Jindalee isn’t even close to NORAD, its a sensor system dependent on time of the day to work….

36 Kfir airframes delivered for 36 Cheetah C. Engine is from retired Mirage F1CZ plus some from other sources (see above). Israel made $1.7 billion (WAPJ 20, pg 13)

Cheetah E were rebuilt Mirage IIIEZ

Cheetah C has 9 hardpoints – they are Kfir C.2 airframes after all

The Kfir C.2 and on have the intake hardpoints added as a result of the airframe strengthening required for the canards – most earlier sources incoorectly say the C.7 was so fitted.

The earlier Kfir ‘C.1’ lacks the hardpoints.

I had a photo of a Swiss Mirage with Falcon AAM fitted to aft HP similar to the Mirage 5. It looks like the same place as the RATO bottles could also be fitted.

I have total 840 produced between 1982 and 1992 for USSR.

    In 1991 Russia has 498, Belarus 80 and Ukraine 245 = 823
