Or maybe that Yak-130 inspired thingie? It looked nice…
again ignorance.
It was inspired by the Mukhamedov Integral, not Yak duh

Hmmm.. This is common knowledge.
i fail to see your point?
Is there a point or just rant? The changes in Mig-29K puts it up in the F-16C block60. Internal fuel, More thrust etc. Mig-29K/Mig-35 has still more growt potencial. There will come a AESA radar if Russia order Mig-29K and Mig-35.
so what’s the internal fuel, thrust, etc of the MiG-29K vs the F-16E?
also how much more growth potential can you add to a 40 year old base design. Even F-16 fanboys acknowledge its nearing the end of the road for their aircraft.
since we’re on the topic,
why didn’t Airbus choose the same engine as the 787 for their new craft
So not many people fancy the hawks chances of success? I don’t no as I’ve not read what they want from the trainer. I think for all the advantages each aircraft has over the other one it will go the same way as every other USAF competition. The one with the most supporters and American parts will win as each trainer can do a good training job. The hawk is could be made cheap and the Americans can put what ever bells an whistles they want on it but it will most likely be the m346 or koreas entry that wins. I’ve heard supersonic training isn’t really important in training as hardly any part of a real mission is flown at this speed. All trainers in the competition can go supersonic In a shallow dive. The most important part in my eyes is which aircraft prepares pilots for current an 5th generation fighters and who can provide the best simulators, support etc
Will the trainer be used for any kind of weapon training?
Actually I think the Hawk has quite a high chance of success..
the Americans already operate a variant.. the Goshawk
and the Americans every now and then like to throw a bone to the Brits to award them with their loyalty. aka Harrier, Goshawk, etc.
Always interested to see new and modified airframes, let’s get some pics!
this, can you see the pic?

Hot Dog just drop it the more you talk the more you are coming off as an ignorant. So now you want to go about thanking India for lending financial help to further enhance the Fulcrum that is just dumb and you know it. SMH.
Well I could do the same as well and say the F16 would have been in a stalemate if not for Arab money having interest and pumping in the development for further models. The thing is it goes both ways.
And dropping a ton of bombs means absolutely nothing hell the Su-24 dropped more bombs than an F22 it doesn’t mean it is a better aircraft just saying!
your lack of basic aviation history is astounding because it is not that long ago that MiG was financially struggling to stay alive and no one wanted its new variants that they piece together but couldn’t afford to fully develop. Only its Klimov subsidiary was making money. MiG survived because of the Indian MiG-29K order and Russians opting to buy the 29K over upgrading the SU-33. (or rather they piggy backed off the Indian order).
You can try to distort history all you want but the truth is.. F-16 got money and saw new developments proceed. Fulcrum had a decade or more of languishing and is only now trying to catch up to the F-16’s development time table.
Currently AESA radar is only used in UAE F-16s; this represents less than 5% of the production. Your statement sounds as if AESA radar has been standard in F-16 for 25 years or something.
I find the F-16 the most suitable fighter aircraft for nations that have limited budget and cannot afford heavier models (F-18, Su-30, EF-2000). However, latest MiG-29 should be quite comparable. The main difference is that F-16 sales allowed newer variants to be deployed, while RSK MiG sales were based on stored aircraft from VVS and Iraqui orders with little variation. The trend has somewhat changed in the last years due to contracts with India, Russia, Sudan and other countries. Now RSK MiG has a production like running and is upgrading older versions.
nope, AESA is not on all versions but other new versions have radar that was continuously developed and integrated with a wide variety of weapons.. cannot say the same for most of the radars the MiG-29 variants were shown off with. In any case you are basically repeating what I am saying however MiG-29 development still has some ways of catching up to the F-16 evolution. It is still by far a fighter aircraft and its integration with significant a2g munitions has been sluggish
Not a single measurable exploitable argument. I’ve lost interest, sorry..
of course you can’t argue against the facts and truth.
you can go on and compare the F-15SG with the Su-27 now and gush over how much cheaper the Su-27 is.
You are confused here; there is no final KPP, only a preliminary incomplete partial KPP for a vendor feedback. This one lacks the mandatory minimum max speed figure as the USAF has yet to decide whether to go supersonic or stay subsonic, which depends on the number of bidders offering supersonic airframes(KAI, Boeing, and Saab)
The USAF requires 6.5 sustained G as listed in the preliminary KPP. Neither M-346 nor Hawk can meet this as is.
see that slowman, everyone here is slowly agreeing to your ideas. you should keep it up
So which one of China’s jets aren’t for export? Su-27 series aren’t because of issues with Russia, and J-20 might not be for export, but that’s about it. Everything else is for sale.
J-10 wasn’t allowed for export to Pakistan either thats why they sold them the JF-17 instead. They would only sell the J-10 after something better came, and something better did came. Same for tanks, ships, awacs, etc. China would not sell them a type 52 or KJ-2000, or Type 99 tank.. they would sell them specifically made monkey models
It won’t be IOC ready by 2017.
Neither would your KFX.. actually the Russians seem to be rushing for a 2017 entry to do their Rush In attack. but Korea wont get it until later because deliveries are prioritized to Russia and India
Then why not buy some more?
Uncle Sam won’t let them and the Korean arms industries are pulling their politicians arms in the back to buy K1s
The ROK actually have the biggest conflict with China of all, over the future of North Korea and the return of Eastern Manchuria to Korea that Japan illegally exchanged for the rights to Manchurian Railway at the beginning of the 20th century.
Eastern Manchuria belongs to Korea?
I am scared to ask where you found this “info”….
lots of info on it.. it was either on army technology or army recognition site.
what’s so hard to believe about it? T-80 was an awesome tank in its days and the Koreans were impressed by it.. so much so that they had to develop the K2 tank to counter it as the K1 wasn’t enough.
A comparison of Kawasaki C-2 and Y-20.
The slope is different so that porthole on Y-20 seems like a little bit smaller.
yes it does look similar.. did the Chinese copy the C-2 but use four russian engines since they have no access to 2 powerful ones?
actually the c-2 looks basically like a baby c-17
It will be an interesting AeroIndia 2013. Don’t rule out the Russkies joining the AMCA party in the form of MiG and Klimov (yet).
being offset by Russian training of engineers and access to facilities that would be of immense value for this baby?
hmm yes yes, i would not rule out Russian help either..
and if MiG and Klimov involved.. its as I thought.. AMCA would be a perfect MiG-29 replacement and Russia should pick up a few too!
JF-17 is not half developed.. it was designed for Pakistan because the Chinese don’t want to sell them their best things. China always sells Pakistan special monkey models.
As for KFX, South Korea needs Pak-fa, its as simple as that. Not like the Koreans don’t have experience using Russian gear.. the S.Koreans love their T-80s and it certainly whooped the derriers of their K1 tanks. They seem to love their Kamovs too.
I fail to see why MiG-29M is inferior in ground attack to any F-16 variant, if we are just taking Airframe vs Airframe.
Similarly what exactly makes post Cold War F-16s surpass any MiG-29s?
Your generalizations are absurd.
easy.
post cold war F-16s = lots of orders, lots of developments, AESA, etc
post cold war MiG-29 development = struggling to survive.. no money to fund further developments, thank allah for the Indian and RuN order that saved them.
MiG-29 also has less useful hardpoints with a belly pylon that is virtually permanently strapped to a fuel tank, and likely two more pylons on the wing making 3.
in other words, F-16 saw more money. done.
also F-16 sure dropped a helluva lot more bombs and is battle proven.
