    Thankyou all for your imput. Thats a fantastic page about the 109 block numbers Richard. DC Page, thats interesting the number appears on the illustration and wonder also where they got it from. It does however place Bischoffs 109 as an E-1 variant.

    Thank you Richard, I assume you have got these numbers from manufacturing blocks from which bischoffs messerschmitt may have been from. I understand it may have been an E1 variant.

    Thankyou for your time in replying John and Andy and its a shame that the A/C letter is unknown. Do you know Andy if the Broyle stuka was ever excavated and anything found as I know the site is now under a road on a housing estate? also would it be possible to have the exact location of the fishbourne crash as you were on the recovery as I have struggled for some time trying to locate it from the photos I have of your recovery. This is not to go digging at the site but just to have for my reference, however im sure it was all recovered at the time. What became of the wreckage?.

    thankyou both very much for your information, I will look into both of these mossies and if you can find your info on the mosquito at Earnley Andy I would be most grateful.
