Maybe it’s a tribute? They also have a Boeing 747-400M PH-BFE called ‘City of Melbourne’. They used to fly on Melbourne in the 70’s-80’s.

From the deck you are not able to see that very good, but what I could see was that there were no planes getting de-iced.

Yes it’s Tenerife, really great approach over there! When the weather is clear you have a great overview over the mountains. Under the winglet you can see the volcano ”El Teide” actually the highest point of spain with around 3.700 metres I thought when walking the tour.

Yes the big airports are having a overload at this moment, at Schiphol delays to 2 hours with one runway in use, Brussel and Dusseldorf party or still fully closed. I found this list from divertions of Amsterdam Schiphol.
