You may well be right I was only a small boy at the time and I was only taken to Skegness at the weekend , Dad was there all week of course, so it might be that he just did not take any photos of it, and he died in 2011 so we can not ask him !!

Here are a couple of old shots at Skeggie. taken by my father Clive Cliff who was an engineer with LASC at Boston and also did work on various aircraft at Skeggie including helping out on the filming of “Those magnificent men in their flying machines” as in the photo above… I also recall my first flight in one of the Austers although I was so young I cant remember which one..I have more photos if anyone is interested…
