Let me think… yep, Russia and India.
And then, many many years later, Russia and India will get some more PakFa.
After that there might be some other.. or there might not.
That’s my opinion as well.

Su-35’s datalink.
Note the boomerang antenna used on Su-35 prototypes only, I heard on MAKS2013 that they`ve changed the system for serie produced examples.

Not to forget the new landing gear and most importantly the new LED landing light :very_drunk:
I don’t like the looks of the intake mounted sensor and the camo is boring. But what can you do.
agree, the real deal is still looking crude as its mock-ups, bit better though. Things like the Flir, EW, MAWS,… etc. are probably not installed yet.

According to Tom from ACIG forum, He’s not in a position to talk about the origin of these light-blue L-39ZOs.
I was told that there should have been more of them and flew combat missions together with FANA MiG-21s during the Angolan intervention of Congo-Brazzaville in 1996.
yeahhh, more likely he doesn`t know anything about their origin as well, but if you were knowledgeable enough in this field, you would know that the L39ZO couldnt come from the Ukraine, Belarus or Russia. If not flightworthy already in 2000, they should have been delivered in 1992-94 period. Another possibility there could be east German L-39ZO, handed over to Hungary after Germany reunification and overhauled in 91-94 in Tekel factory(Danubian Aerospace).
ANyway, his book about African airforces is very weak regarding FANA Su22,…..and yes, all L-29 are grounded, bcs their TBO ended in 2008. Time Between Overhaul for the L-39SIA will end up soon as well .
P.S. I believed you when you first reported about the light blue L-39ZO being located at Namibe school. It seems your claims should be checked first, my mistake, sorry….. :very_drunk:

Hey!! Martinez buddy. You don’t need to be serious about it.
The whereabout of the third one in question can be clarified in this photo.
As I mentioned earlier, exactly two light-blue L-39ZOs were transfered to the school of Armed Services at Namibe.
Hi buddy, how is your portuguese? I admit, mine is non-existing, but still I can decipher from facebook that both FANA officers work at Luanda airfield and took their pictures there in the same hangar. That means all three L-39ZO are still located at Luanda airfield.
Once, this place has been visited by young sergeants from the Armed Services schoold at Namibe. Do you agree? :very_drunk:

MiG-17F C23, hopefully not seen picture either

of course, “on this picture” is the only one the Su-24 from Angola….:)
.
BTW, Did you take any pics of FANA Su-25s while you was visiting the Catumbela AFB?
sorry, no luck with FANA Su-25, they allowed us to see only the North site of the airfield where all derelict L29 and the Su-22 were parked. I wonder if you guys can guess what aircraft is on this picture below??:very_drunk:

Are you serious that these light-blue L-39ZOs grounded in the hangar building with flat tyre were sighted at the Luanda AFB?
IMHO, There was the only one light-blue L-39ZO prominently photographed next to MiG-21,23 in open storage at the Luanda AFB.
Contrary to your eye-witness, The facebook from which I found these two light-blue L-39ZOs was singing a diffrent tune. there was a very short caption in portuguese “Sargentos recém formados na*Escola de Armadas e Serviços- Namibe” that reads ” Newly trained sergeants in School and Armed Services-Namibe” in english.
Anyway, It’s highly interesting in that they were supplied from multiple sources like Iraq, Syria, Libya.
First time that I had ever heard about it.
BTW, Do you have any pics of some weathered FANA Su-25s in non-airworthy condition?
I saw several pics of them dumped in the numerous dispersals at the Catumbela AFB.
Mostly from the ones photographed by the russians, then uploaded at the most popular russian photo album website like foto.mail.ru…etc.
TIA
I`m dead serious, bcs we delivered and maintained military aircrafts for them, such as the L-29,L-39 and the Su-22 in time period from 1998 to 2008.
Regarding those light blue L-39ZO, till now do not know their origin, but all three were located at Luanda airport since 2000 in a non-flightworthy condition. Presumably in 2015-16, one L-39ZO has been transfered to the School of Armed Services in Namibe as a teaching aid. In 2016, one L-39ZO is still present at the Luanda airport military museum, third one is hidden somewhere…..
You can check Google Earth by your self, or see attached photo below. Only Iraq, Syria and Libyan airforces received the type L-39ZO in the region of Africa.
P.S. photo below shows two L-39 at Luanda airport(year 2002), third one is on the other side.

My pleasure!! Martinez
Looks like there is no way to know the serial numbers of those FANA L-39ZOs in light-blue finish for me unless you refer to”Aero Vodochody”,
These light-blue L-39ZOs in storage were said to be photographed at Escola de Armadas e Serviços- Namibe.
Martinez!! Sounds like you’re now working in the aviation industry.
In that case, Mind if you can upload more FANA pics in your collection here?
http://www.aero.cz/cz/o-nas/kontakty/
Hopefully they can take care of your inquiry.
Hi buddy, do you really think it is a good idea? Where would you sent your inquiry when looking for FANA Su-22 serial nummbers, to the KNAAPO????:very_drunk: There were three L-39ZO grounded and abandoned at Luanda airfield military site since 2000. Probably they were delivered in late nineties from Iraq, Syria or Libya.
Martinez
below picture is from Catumbela though
