your not wrong there, i had a great day when i went a few years back, me girlfriend thought we were going to linclonshire for a romantic weekend, she was even less impressed the next day, when i took her to conningsby…..How you cant be impressed buy the site of these wonderfull machines i dont know!!

I dont know where is going to or if they are going to do a 109,i hope so, i did find rochester airfield’s web site, have a look. the more people that support them the better, it may stop the money grabbing council from building a “scince park” on it, or more likley i think houses, though i bet they wont admitt to it! this building on old airfields really annoys me, has anyone been to west malling latley? or even worse hawkinge , of all the places they have to build why there?? sureley it must have some memorial status..

RE: Battle of Britain

i have looked on the site ( as well as brought dvd’s and cd’s from them), and the picture on the box has got the spitfire and 109 on it, i have this dvd and it really ain’t up to much, it is a 3 disc volume set, however the promised 1 hour of extras is more like 30mins, the series that was on the tele a while ago is available on vid, i cant remember who sells it.
