I think skippers aircraft, in that part of the film coded asAI-A N3310 is MH434 as I am sure I can see the little aerial sticking out the bottom of it, don’t know the other one though.

I got a piccie of the manned V1 that they have at Headcorn, look’s like the cockpit is quite far back… not the best of angles but see what you think…

    Hi Ashley
I have bt internet and my connection disses after 2 mins, according to bt unless you are sending or downloading stuff from the internet it automatically does this to stop people being connected all day and clogging up there servers…what I have done is told outlook express to check for messages every minute and leave it running in the background, this way it stays connected until you get to the 2 hour time limit then it disconnects, this is again because bt don’t want people to stay connected all day, even though they are paying for unlimited access. 😡

I know the part you are talking about and I am sure he says, “did anyone see one go in” referring to a heinkel the other pilot says he shot down.

Sorry my post seemed to make sense when I wrote it, but reading it back now looks like im asking you where you got it from. 😀
yeah it does look like a model (winking Hurricane gun ports) its nice to see all the aircraft as opposed to seeing the most of the wings chopped off as in my old 4:3 version.

Tim Clayton & Phil Craig’s book from the bbc series Finest Hour is a good read, ( ISBN 0-340-75041-3 ) its mostly written from eye witness accounts of the people involved, the book takes you from the battle of France through the battle of Britain, in the eyes of different people, from an evacuee and a sailor to a school boy and a WAFF plotter, you may have seen the series on tele but believe me the book is way better, in my view the best book about the battle is “the battle of Britain then and now” maybe a bit heavy going for the beginner but a great book all the same.
