Do any of you experts know if the 3DTVC is likely to be implemented into the tranche 3 deal or is it unlikely?
    Thanks in advance

QUOTE from RAF website: While the Tornado used five Paveway IV bombs, again a first for that aircraft from .

I didnt think this was possible could someone care tell me how they did this? When there are only four spots for the PWIV, and three when the Tornado’s are carrying a targetting pod?

[QUOT]That’s not correct, TVC is already a possibility for T2, but as of now there appears to be little interest besides current customers, so we may not see it, except future customers request it.[QUOTE]

Has tthe UK expressed any intrest in getting the thrust vectoring version? Also India might want it, you never know.

    I have a few quick questions about the Typhoon;
Is the Eurofighter going to recieve thrust vectoring still?
Is the UK going to decomission the bk-27 on its typhoons?
And lastly is this a standard UK Typhoon air-air load: 6 AMRAAMS and 2 ASRAAMS?

    Thanks in advance.

When is the projected in-service date for the f-35 now? Is it still 2013?

That picture looks like a gbu-24 the long shape with the front curving in, but it just as easily could be a gbu-27. Still no sure

The loadout that the typhoonss are using is:

    2x ASRAAM
    2x Paveway II
    2x Drop Tanks
    1x Targetting pod
And does anybody know if the US is still using its AC-130s, A-10s and
    harriers?

I think that the slowdown in military actions
is due to two things:new NATO leadership
    and bad weather stopping airsrikes.

So now that the Yanks don’t seem to want to play no more and it now seems the Swedish are sending a few of their Gripens to operate over Libya, maybe now we, UK, can pull our Tonkas out of Afghanistan and maybe get a few Typhoons performing A/G sorties?

Fat chance, the MoD is scared of flys hitting
the plane let alone AAA bateries firing upon them!

I have just noticed something about the chart provided earlier, the f-35 cannot sriously replace planes like the a-10, is there a more dedicated CAS platform planned for its replacement?

    F/B-22,

    two seats.

    2 F-135/136 engines (I still root for F-136!)

compound delta, cranked arrow with plenty of internal fuel capacity.

    big internal weapon bays.

tailless design. no need for high AOA manuevers.

    update of F35’s sensor systems.

    F/E-22 Jammer/EW version.

It would be WAY TO EXPENSIVE.
