Sibs , come up in April to our get together , they have LA198 sitting just inside Hangar 2 ‘s doors , if you asked nicely I think they would be willing to roll the doors open to get some good shots , could be last chance before she goes indoors permanently thru in Glasgow!!!!!!!

There’s a mangled Lanc cockpit section in Canada which was supposed to be getting crated and shipped to the UK , but it was for a collector who has a replica section kitted out with real bits ‘n bobs , I think he intended to make a Real Lanc cockpit section out of both .Is this connected to Ken Ward at all????

I think the Indians still have two as well , INS Viraat and INS Vikrant , one is the old Falklands veteran HMS Hermes I think the other is another ex RN and maybe ex-Netherland’s???.
The Argentinians sent the old “25th De Mayo” to the shipbreakers at Alang in India 2 years ago , I don’t know if shes been broken up yet , Anybody ??????

A woman in America is suing her hairdresser because he gave her a haircut which made her look like Osama Bin Laden , the FBI have confirmed this as they cannot find her anywhere………

Adonis , I think the childish name calling website is somewhere else . Nice to see the real intellectual in you appearing , keep taking the medication , you’ll be fine soon . See your tailor too he can add padding to hide the chip on your shoulder .

Our intention is to half drown you in beer , then lock you in the restoration hangar for 2-3 years , we will allow you exercise once a day and three meals , all engineering supplies will be passed through a secure hatch until job is done .
Naw , seriously , it will be good to have someone who knows their way round a Beaufighter , I’ve never even seen one at all in the flesh !!!!!!. However the beer/whisky section of the weekend is not optional , this is mandatory !!! ( any chance of bringing up any illicit photos you have of your Beau ???)

Just to bring this topic back up , we’re still on for the 26-27th April at the MoF East Fortune , Uncle Keith is (hopefully) getting the keys to the Vulcan so we have a good look at her , also if Steve Young is coming up we’re guaranteed an interesting weekend , any of you Southerners want to come up it’s meet up at 10:30 at the MoF , all the local pubs are still under £1.80 a pint , plenty of cheap B+Bs , camping sites etc , will post some details later .

INK , looks like we’ve got a Greek version of Hellaid here !!! , Jeez I forgot all about Greece , never heard a peep from the Slimes pre Gulf War , maybe they are bitching as nobody asked them to join in , lets face it they could have saved Saddam some cash , why fire SAM’s when they could have watched antiquated sh1t fall out of the sky by itself .
