No, agricultural yes, livestock no. The building was the old workshops when all maintenance was done on the farm. The bays were to stop the guys talking to each other when they worked. This is fully air conditioned, the weather inside is always the same as outside except when it is cold when it is even colder inside.

Sounds like my barn , freezing cold in summer , worse in winter , just like microlighting but cheaper . Only time you get a heat is when somebody is welding , then you tend to find people running around with lit thinners rags poking out of their back pockets , too cold – too hot , can’t keep some people happy at all !!:D
Good news !
Whats your Website address Melvyn ?? , all I can find is stuff about how to electrify yourself with a guitar ?? , thanks.:D
I couldn’t help notice but – that looks suspiciously like an old Cow Byre you are growing your Rearwin in ?? is it ?
Looks like a serious job , did you strip it to a bare frame ?? , more photos , hint , hint .:)

[B]This is the sort of thing I found inside. Note how the frame has been painted without taking off the pulleys. I also found that the frame had been painted around the stringers.
This photo actually takes me back to my batchelor pad days of painting round the pictures ‘cos I couldn’t afford more paint !!:D
The engine looks superb Melvyn , do Vintech ground run it when you have finished assembling it or is that left to you ??. To be honest flying doesn’t interest me too much – however the engineering behind it all fascinates me , the work in that engine is to good to be hidden behind a cowling – will it be left uncowled ??

Holy 5hit Mog , there is no fecking way I would be anywhere near that thing , I wouldn’t even go near the glider either !!:D
Moggy , what the hell is that ( apart from lethal ) , it looks like it was catapulted off of Colditz !!!:D
The Scarab looks superb Melvyn , are the barrels stove enamelled ?? , any photos of the Rearwin in it’s “as found ” state ?? , I’m only being a nosey sod as the photo of your shed makes mine look neat and tidy !!!:D

Not totally sure that I qualify to post on this thread as I don’t have a PPL(yet). I am, however, lucky enough to get regular flights in an Extra 300, Jodel D18, Grob 109 and Piper Arrow.
Flying in them counts too Neal so post away , although I suspect we have seen your face somewhere before ?? , in the front seat of a modern yellow/blue thingy perhaps ?? , any good shots of the Jodel ???.
