Absolutely no problem , but as mentioned more suitable clothing would be better. My eldest , Jamie aged 8 , was on the back of my YZF750 / RC30 /NC30 and various other sheds from the age of 5 . He progressed from a Suzuki LT50 quad to a Yamaha TY80 and now a Yamaha YZ80 , his younger brother , John aged 4 , has now claimed the quad . I would highly recommend a small quad like the LT50 to start with – just to gain confidence before jumping on to something with a clutch .

The photos should be of John on his quad ( purely for posing – he is never on it unless he has boots , gloves and a real helmet ) , John on his brothers TY80 trying to be James Dean , and the other is my last Ducati – obviously a Monoposto , definately no passengers .

As his legend said Life. Live it, love it. He certainly did :-

Words fail me I can only agree with what Mark has said.

Steve, you will be sorely missed by all those you touchedou.

My sincere condolences to Jules, Hadyn and Steves Family.

I hope that you will join with me at 8 pm tonight, raise your glass to salute a great person and a friend. Take time out to read back through his posts.

You would have to search wide and far to meet somebody of Steves character , a damn good bloke , always had a joke and a laugh .

We will miss you Steve – we will NEVER forget you .

    God Bless you .

Alastair , I still cannot believe it .

If we do have a memorial for Steve I will contribute as much as I can.

Nah , an admonishment is not a conviction , you don’t legally have to mention it at job applications – you do have to with convictions . I’ve been in the same boat but with another industry and everything was / is fine . Take it easy !!.

Very Happy 🙂 , thanks Alastair.

So I guess that makes G-SABR second oldest?

Nah , keep hunting , there are at least 2 more older than G-SABR – one is another Vampire – again American based but there is another American built jet still flying in the Texas area . Start Googling. Shooting Star ????. Hmmm still flying , flew a few times in the last few weeks alone

This doesn’t actually say that the F3 is AIRWORTHY and currently ACTIVE.

She is a definate flyer , N6878D has flown as far as to Texas this year and was spotted at a few , small airfields ( by American standards ) and she received a new paint job while over there . She is now flying out of a small field near Jacksonville in Fla .
Is that enough for you ?????. YES SHE IS AIRWORTHY AND IS CURRENTLY VERY ACTIVE . Happy . 🙂

I gave up motorcyling ‘cos of the increased risks. Total injuries from bikes were a fractured elbow and a cracked rib.

DIY? Broken toe, broken ribs, virtually severed index finger, numerous serious cuts, bruises and burns!!

Thanks guys – Although it hurts to laugh your responces made me smile 🙂

    JC

Bikes are the work of the devil , fecking crack cocaine is fugging cheaper and less harmful to the body .

Bought a new GSXR SRAD when they first came out , thought I was the bees knees , ended up in tears , hit the rear wheels of a coal lorry , ended up smashing the instruments and screen with my a$$ , loads of perspex in my a$$ , and had an involuntary circumcision , loads of stitchs around the area where the sun don’t shine and bromide in my tea for 2 months – believe me , there is a fecking lot of blood in your knob .
Ended up with a mega blood clot in my leg too and ended up in St Johns getting that out – my wife thought it would be funny to make me a set of Thomas Tank engine PJ’s out of TT curtains – seriously uncool when a Fourm member came to visit ( thanks Der ! )

Getting better though , stopped motorcycling , losing way too many toes – had to stop just in case having no toes would effect my sense of balance .
Bought a new Jetski though , this could be fun. :dev2:
