Is there any chance that somebody could translate PilotGHT’s posts for me – they seem to be written in some Text/Garble type language . Everybody seems ****ed off with the content , but I can’t make sense of them at all.:(

They should make some type of literary test mandatory before letting under 16’s onto a Forum. All this new Text- talk has got me stumped !!

Good news Joe , I was down at Newark in 1988 and it was quite impressive then , a kind gentleman let me and the wife have a look in the Shackleton . I was also impressed with the Hastings – I don’t suppose you have any photos of her ? , and is there a section of Lancaster fuselage on display – or is my mind playing tricks on me .

Glad you enjoyed yourself Daz , Gordon runs a good club , good fun but obviously serious as hell when it comes to safety . When I started it in 1990 there were no facilities – just an old caravan , then they bought a bubble barn , now they have enough hangarage for 28 fully rigged micros . I haven’t been through in ages ( thanks to my kids taking up a lot of spare time !! ) I’ll drop you a mail one day and I can pick you up for a day out through there – I’m starting to get itchy feet now !!.
