Don’t tell me you found food, education, and job when you’re born and supported yourself all this time and don’t need to pay back anything…that’s just typical lefty selfishness in the name of “humanity”…because like you said, you don’t owe anybody so nobody owes anything to you, you’re just by chance borned there?(and don’t even mention about your parents because that’s just selfish again, because without others your parents can survive alone in this world?) However, patriotism also means further extending the well being of the citizens where you’re being supported…therefore patriotism doesn’t have to have anything to do with where your are born or else you’re just being a bigot for saying that no immigrants will defend their adopted home because they are simply not born there (heard this many times haven’t we?). In addition, patriotism also involves doing the “right” thing for the “people” that you owe your well being, meaning if you have a corrupted leader or a despotic leader, then it is patriotic to fight against it to provide rights for your fellow citizens. The question is then, what is the right thing…and that’s much more complex than simple patriotism. Don’t mix blind nationalism with patriotism because that seems to be exactly what you’re doing. Its sad because many people from around the world are blind nationalists rather than patriotic…in fact they are not.

Well said , and far more eloquently put than I’m capable of

2……get an internet connection….allright, allright, some of you already have !
3……look up Microsoft Gamezone on the net.
4……get a .net password. I think (a long long time ago when i did this so it may not still hold 100 % true so please bear with me if i’m wrong…..if you try and log onto the zone it will ask you for your password and login. If you dont have one, I think you get the option to set one up…WARNING…TRYING TO GET A DECENT LOGIN AND PASSWORD CAN BE VERY HARD COS INVARIABLY, SOME ONE ELSE HAS ALLREADY THOUGHT OF WHT YOU WANT TO USE AND HAVE BEATEN YOU TO IT !!!
5…….when you have your logon and password and then try to logon to the Gamezone, it will probably tell you you dont have a certain file that is needed and do you want to download it….answer YES (the file is only a few hundred kilobytes in size and takes very little time to download even on a normal telephone internet connection.
6…….in Gamezone, go to the section marked ‘CDROM required games’ and enter then select MS Combat Flight Sim 2 and go to a game near gamed 50 called ‘Flypast’ and double click on it then click on the ‘join’ button and you are in dont forget the password will ‘forum’ in lowercase !

Now playing CFS2 with the standard stuff is reasonable but its a bladdy site more fun if you run a few non standard planes. One of the best site to download from is
    http://www.simviation.com
Sorry I havent worked out how to do shortcuts yet !.
Go to the CFS2 section and you have something in the region of 60 pages each holding around 10 planes, of free…YES I SAID FREE !! planes for CFS2. They are zipped files and are an absolute doddle to load and run in the game.
    Another good site is
    http://www.avhistory.org
agian shed loads of free downloads

I will be online tommorrow night …Thursday 17th…at around 20.00 hrs if any one wants to give it it a go before the big one of Friday evening.

My Gamezone name is….wait for it……WRECKED-PLANE told you the choices where cr*p !)

See ya there, and as Snapper says….watch your six….and as I say…..DAGADAGADAGADAGADGAGADA………Dont think…Look…Search for the B*st*rds, never fly straight and level for more than 30 seconds in the combat zone !!!

Actually, I normally Shhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii just before i smack into deck or get blowded up again !

    See ya there

    Mega , see you soon 🙂 🙂

Ahhh the Beaufighter , if I win the lottery I’m going to volunteer to pay to let Steve Young loose on her with a blank cheque !!

Yes I do agree on this point , I apologise for being a bit abrupt in my previous post .

Although most of us live in a democratic state lets keep the arguments a bit more civil , I can appreciate the we are all patriotic to our own countries and ,I applaud USagent , Arthur ,yourself , TTP , SOC , GarryB and others for being so patriotic – I fully admit I’m proud to be a Brit and am proud to be a part of the Commonwealth , but lets keep the mudslinging down , if you don’t like or have no reasonable responses to a particular simply don’t answer to it .
And my final point , why should NZ have kept a handful of Skyhawks ?? , to look good at airshows ??? , to act as targets ?? , I think they were pretty sensible and it made good economic sense to chop them , if NZ ever needed ANY aid in policing their own matters I think there would be more than a few countries willing to help out , the Commonwealth AND a couple of others at least 😉
