My worst delays have always been with Airtours.

But the worst was an 11 hour delay flying MAN-MLA. Annoying thing is that they kept telling us it would be 2 hours blah, blah, blah. The aircraft (ex Excalibur A320, I’m pretty sure) went tech in Cyprus I think, so it was bloody obvious it would be longer than 2 hours!
The 11 hour delay was only as short because our party kicked up a fuss and they put us on a Britannia flight that went out on time! Don’t know what the others eventually flew out on a few hours later.

Bit of a surprise I ever wanted to fly with them again, but I just got back with them today, ontime departing and early arriving on both flights, so maybe they’ve improved!

Wasn’t it on the Manchester Orlando flight for a short period?

We flew back on an A340 the first year they operated the route, two days later it was changing to the 767 in I remember correctly. May have operated Gatwick at some stage as well but I can only remember the MAN flight.

Be sad to see them go, all thses charters having the same cs is making it a little less interesting when you go abroad!

Have all the JMC aircraft been painted? I think theres a few Condor around and certainly a few in an interim scheme. Hope to see a few of both in Lanzarote later in the week, may be the last chance!
