The a.net photo has been removed for being a fake as its been recognised that reg’s can’t be re-assigned.

SOFTLAD – Where did you hear this info from? I didn’t think any DC-10 was in the full new colours yet.

Well Boeing has the price of all of its aircraft on their website, check: http://www.boeing.com/commercial/prices/

The rest will be difficult to find, you could try finding leasing prices etc on the websites of the major leasing companies (such as ILFC etc) but I doubt they will give any price.

Tomorrow looks a bit poor weather, I’ll certainly be able to get down there another time though.

With regard the A340-600, I think they’re operating the Tokyo / Hong Kong flights mainly,
Tokyo departs at 1300 and arrives 1600 so you should see two.
Hong Kong are late night / early morning flights.

Also ones due in Dublin tomorrow, due to arrive there around 1000, so leave LHR about 0900, bit early for you though.

Yeah, well, not really. If nobody can get on the website then nobody can book flights!

Sounds like poor preperation and organisation to me, things need to improve, if they can’t even put up a website then what chance have they got at running an airline?

I’m fine for either, I’ll be up there for the Champions League date, with a meeting or not and given this much advance I should be able to make any dates for the summer really.

Like Kev I’ll be driving up, from the East Midlands though and also be ale to offer lifts around the airport.

Talking about cheap fares, I just checked a few MyTravel Lite fares and there are some one-way fares for £1.54! Admitedly there are taxes to be added that are about £10-15 but bloody hell thats cheap!!

Looks like theres going to be a few trips to AMS in the summer!

I completely agree with banning smoking in public places, its absolutely awful, I ban it altogether if I had the chance.

Rather than any new laws I’d just like to see much harsher punishment for those that break existing ones. All prisons should be Alcatraz style and we should bring the death penalty back and make it compulsory for all murderers and rapists.
