All 747-200’s were phased out, TF-ATW is leased from Air Atlanta and used on the MAN-MCO route as said above.
This aircraft is in full VS colours with VS seats and the Arcadia entertainment system with Nintendo games etc. The flightdeck crew is from Air Atlanta but other crew are VS, I flew on it in early May.

The game is basically as it states, Tower. You are also in control of ground though and receive aircraft about 10 miles out on final.

Two airports have photo realistic 360 views which is quite good, with less detailed aircraft, although the movements are very good and it certainly makes it a bit more interesting than looking at a radar screen as in some games.
Only moans are that they are not true colours and appear and disappear after / before they move.

However its a great game that I still use often and definately worth a go, especially if its free!

Transjet have indeed a very bad reputation, not just for delays either.
I did manage to get a photo at EMA, this was only 1 hour late!

Well I’ve heard a few very bad things from Tranjet recently and I would not fly on them, ever. Like said above, I always know which airline / aircraft I’m flying on.

MyTravel (well, Airtours) have caused a few problems (many hours of delays) but I’d probably give them a third chance!

FREE, FREE!!!

I BOUGHT this game a few years ago for £60! Mind you it was in the days before FS98 so it was a while ago. Got to agree, its a fantastic game and I used to spend hours on it. O’Hare is the best, when you have 99 aircraft every 66 minutes, hard to control but fun. Washingtonm National is quite hard, but the other Canyon Field is fun as you can see the aircraft close up.

Airbus family aircraft have the absolute best cockpits around, they just look so modern, brilliant!

Botyh are great but I’d have to say Airbus. The A340 was the best aircraft I’ve flown on (excluding Concorde), so quiet and very roomy I thought. I love the look of the A330 and would love to fly on this, or to actually fly it. The cockpit of the Airbus’ is just fantastic, they look so modern and are just great.

I don’t hate Boeing though, the 757 is my most commonly flown on type and is great on take-off. Also like the 747, a lot of space.

Well, having just come back from Florida (well, a couple of weeks ago now) I have no other plans at the moment. 🙁

This may change, I’m debating whether to buy a new camera or to go on a short holiday, not sure.

Don’t know where you can download anything on the internet, apart from each individual airlines timetable. There is a printed book though that lists all flights for all UK airports available here:

You can add one flight though that isn’t in the book, a Transjet MD-83 arrives on Tuesdays at about 1500, I was glad to see it yesterday.

Also, the EMA website has flight arrival info thats linked to the screens in the terminal and is very useful in seeing whats due in.

Good news indeed. Patches for flightsim are free, there were two for 2000, both free.

Tlking about flightsim, has anyone messed about with the AI traffic using Ttools? I’m currently working on flightplans for EMA that will mean that all AI traffic arrives at true life times on proper days, using the correct callsigns.

Its a regular flight throughout the summer, I think its a twice weekly A340.

The other A321 is G-NIKO.

I can’t see them getting rid of the 757’s soon, they’ve just painted two in the new colours (G-PIDS and G-CCMY, the new one).

Most are in a hybird scheme with MyTravel titles and the rest of the plane Airtours, like G-YJBM taken today at EMA.

Theres a 0915 MYT063 To Sanford via Belfast which is an A330.

With 7th July being a Sunday it will just be the return flight, MYT064 arrives via Belfast at 0750.
Flights to the US always arrive the day after due to the time it takes to get there and back.
