RE: Pic Of The Day-Its in my backyard!!!
They are very big. The second biggest in the world behind the AN-225. The A380 won’t be much bigger when its built.
There were two at EMA the other day, good picture actually as they were registered

RE: Pic Of The Day-Flying Palace!
Thought it may be the BBJ, if you go to http://www.corporate-jetliner.com/ you can take a virtual walk around the Airbus A319CJ, looks excellent.
Yours for about £40m
RE: Favourite Airline
Virgin Atlantic – great airline inflight entertainment, service, meals everything.
Beat BA hands down on the same route.
I’ll be flying with them again on Friday, can’t wait!
RE: Pic Of The Day-Flying Palace!
Thats the way I’d like to fly!
What plane is it, must be a 319CJ or 737BBJ as it looks very big.
RE: All time favourite Movie???
I also love both American Pie films, don’t think I’ve ever laughed as much as when watching the first one.
Scream was good when I first saw that, kept you guessing all the way through the film.
I liked Titanic – what facts were so wriong in that? OK the love story was completely made up but the rest was spot on.
I also like You’ve got Mail, great film.
RE: Help with UK Charter Airlines…??
Take a look at http://www.plane-mad.com/photo.php and use the photos you want. As long as full credit is given (which you’ve already said will) then I don’t mind.
RE: Websites
plane mad Cool. I bet you had to fight for that name
Not really. The name http://www.planemad.com was already taken so I had to add the dash. Everyone kept telling me I was plane mad so it seemed appropriate. the planemad.com site has been closed since September so I’m keeping a look out for that one, some people seem a little confused by adding the dash (-) in the middle.
RE: DO YOU BELIEVE IN GOD?
I’, actually someone who has to see proof of something before I can actually beleive in it, so I have to say no.
To be honest I just can’t understand anyone who will do so much for something that nobody has ever seen evidence that actually exists. I personnaly can’t understand people who live their lives according to religion, but its a bit of a touchy subject so I’ll stop there.
Just one other thing is that religion is the biggest cause of conflict in the world (look at most wars) and I just can’t believe in somthing that is the cause of so much distress.
RE: Website Links
Never miss an opportunity to advertise your web site!
Just Civil Aviation and Flight Sim stuff.
I also have to echo the comments made by Shaun, if people like him want to post s*** like that then I’m sure there are many other sites around the web that he can do it! Stuff like that is just totally out of line here if you ask me.
RE: Sheffield Disaster!!!!
I think Benair got it in one. There are just too many airports around the UK and simply not enough PAX to use them all. Look at the gaps (geographically) between the Uk’s airports and those in other countries. There are just too many airports all fighting for the same passengers.
RE: Renaming JMC
Didn’t know this was going to happen! This means a very good chance of a new livery, which makes all of the charter carriers. Perhaps they felt left out with all of the others changing and decided to change thmselves!
RE: Is it a Turkish summer charter?
There are also a number of books that have info on airline fleets that may be useful to you.
RE: Pic Of The Day-Where did it go??
OK, found the info:
747-100 N625PL of American International / Kalitta on a ferry flight from Honolulu to Oscoda on April 26 1997.
Apparently a crack was found in an engine mount and they had to fly it to somewhere it could be replaced. The engine was removed and carried onboard!
RE: Pic Of The Day-Where did it go??
Its definately a 747, that much I’m sure of.
I’ll try and find where I read it and supply more info.
RE: Is it a Turkish summer charter?
Don’t know much about either but I can tell you the following:
Atlas International Airways
operate 3 757’s (TC-OGA / B / C) all ex-LTU
Inter Express
1 737-800 TC-IEA (TC-IEB due in May)
Can’t be sure but I’d guess they were both charters.
