They can be cheaper some of the time, they were a lot cheaper a few months ago before BA, BMI had to reduce prices. easyjet for example to AMS was only £60 return, BMI were looking for about £200 at the time. BMI fares to Scotland were rediculous before Go started up (about £300 return!)

Although I have to agree, now you can get as good if not better deals on the big carriers. The thing that annoys me most about easyjet (and probably others) is that they don’t reserve seats, so its one massive brawl to get on the plane. Personally if I could get a flight with a good carrier within £20-£30 then I’d choose them.

Absolutely agree. It may also be a huge distraction from the World Cup preperations. We need Sven to be 100% concentrated on our World Cup campaign and this media attention is not helping one bit!

The tabloids will be the first to criticise if England fail at the World Cup, not giving it a thought that they may actually be partly to blame. We may be looking back thinking that things may have been different if he could have put his attention towards football rather than other stories. Lets hope not though!

The two ERJ’s in Star alliance are G-RJXI and G-RJXH, they are also regulars at EMA. The newly delivered ERJ’s are all in new colours (RJXI onwards) but I haven’t seen any of the others yet.

LGKR – Deleted your post.

If you add flights with no Flight number, airline or aircraft it will now show an error. Also if you add a flight under 20 minutes it will show an error. This should now rule out any mis-typed flights.

PS Anyone have any further ideas for the look of the log?

I think the majority of the unpainted aircraft are currently the A321’s which have been stored at EMA for the whole winter. Due to the fact that they were not sure what was going to happen to them then I think they decided not to paint. These may now be coming back into service hence the reason there may be more flying around now.

The Fokker’s are not going to be re-painted I don’t think, as there are plans to replace them, I don’t think any of the early Embraers have been painted yet either, all of them at EMA are in the old colours.

Air 2000 are getting a new livery that is apparently going to have a heavy First Choice influence, the First Choice flower will be on the tail. There is an aircraft either already painted or due to be painted soon with the colours.

OK a few questions to answer.

Monster500 – Sorry for removing all flights but the ones already entered were really to check that everything was working, most people entered fictional flights and it was easier to start from scratch than have everyone post which were real and which were not. I did ask advice on here a good 8 hours before removing and got 2 replies, could have been waiting ages for everyone to answer.
Your 2023 entries have been changed to 2002.

LGKR – The look can change to anything at all. I wasn’t too worried about how it looked for a start, just wanted to get it working correctly. Don’t know whether you’ve done any HTML but it can be anything thats possible for a web page. You can go as far as designing the page or just making a few sugestions as to how you would like it to look (this goes out to everybody).

T5 – Whats up with your enties? LHR-Tokyo on a Cessna with a rating of 500 odd and I don’t even want to mention the flight time!

Also Kabir, one of your entries says 900 hours, have you entered this wrong or is this a problem with the log.
