I’ll guess at one. Airtours charge 50p for a 150ml soft drink.

easyjet charged £1 for a 330ml when I flew with them so this price sounds about right.

Nice picture!

I’ve never liked the look of it myself, just looks strange really, but I’ve got to admit the size of the engines are impressive.

I don’t think I’ve ever been ill on a plane, can’t remember being ill on a boat either, but I haven’t been on one for years and I hate sailing! Its the thought of being out at sea and not being able to see land that gets me more than the rocking.

Well, I’ll be travelling Virgin in early May and I’d like a mistake like that, although I think they only have premium economy on the MAN-MCO route.

I flew one of their A340’s (also MAN-MCO) and I thought it was excellent, probably my best flight yet.

Concorde can actually go to about 65,000 ft I think.

I had one of those pleasure flights a few years ago on it (MAN-MAN) and we were at about 55,000 ft then.

You do start to see the curvature of the earth and the sky above is very dark!

Its not a bad attempt at all! I have paint shop pro and an absolutely useless at any sort of graphic designing.

I’ve tried numerous times to make a good logo for my web site but every time it looks crap!

I think it would be a good idea for the queen / PM to buy an A330 / 340. The 146 just isn’t good enough range wise to be a serious aircraft for people who reguarly travel around the world.

Tony Blair has also chartered Concorde a couple of times and this must cost a fortune. Other countries have their own aircraft and I think we should too.

As far as I’m aware, they are all going to be replaced (F100 & F70)but I’m not sure when. None have been painted in the new colours or even the interim livery that a lot of other types have. Not sure what they are using to replace them with either, possibly ERJ-145’s although a little smaller.

Best infligt entertainment I’ve had was with Virgin. Their A340 / 744’s have nintendo games and 8 excellent up to date movies on seperate channels, plus a few others like comedy etc and of course the skymap.

When I flew BA long haul it was a 742 and we had one big screen for every 15-20 rows and the highest seats I have ever seen on any aircraft. I had to sit on the arm rest for 1hr 1/2 to watch a really cut up, no swearing or violence version of Beverly Hills Cop 3 (when it was first out. The radio was better on BA than Virgin though I thought.

Great aircraft, this has to be the type I’ve flown most and one of my favourites to fly on. Looks great, it has got a unique look, definately the nose.

Saw one in the new MyTravel colours today at Manchester and it looked fantastic!

The continental MAN 764. This is a downgrade from a 777 isn’t it! But should be interesting to finally see a 764.

Also look forward to seeing the Cathay A340 and Asiana 744 into Heathrow, if they are operated at a reasonable hour!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 04-04-02 AT 05:33 PM (GMT)]Heres a few from East Midlands. We get all the usual charters, plus scheduled flights by bmi and now Go and bmibaby. Its a very, very busy airport for cargo, but the vast majority of flights are at night 🙁 .

I missed a great photo opportunity last week, I was about to fly in a Cessna from the flying school and had to do the pre-flight check on the aircraft in the corner, closest to the main taxiway. A Gemini Cargo DC-10 taxiied past and I have never, ever been so close to a moving aircraft in my life, but I didn’t have my camera with me at the time! 🙁

This is a hard one!

I agree that the second one looks like a Caledonian 757

Third one looks like a Chinese airline, I think its China Southern
