    Croatia was 9A-CTF

    I think Qatar landed after we left, but according to ringway reports was A7-AFC

    Qatar ordering 777’s will be a surprise as they fly an all Airbus fleet. Wouldn’t it make more sense to go with the A340?

    So you got a few biz jets at LBA yesterday then, anything else?

    We had a few biz jets at MAN as well as a huge number of other aircraft from around Europe and beyond!

    Highlight of the biz stuff were a 737 BBJ, reportedly carrying Russian premier Vladimir Putin and the Italian AF A319CJ carrying the Italian Belusconi (spelling on the two names!)

    I’ll post a complete report on the day including a few pics later tonight.

    The A345 will start to do DXB – SYD non-stop. I tried searching for flights in January and got the A345 on that leg. Would be a cracking route to fly with the A330 from either MAN or BHX!

    I quite like the F100 to fly on, flew with bmi a couple of years ago, sit near the front and its a fantastic aircraft very quiet and smooth, near the back is very loud and horrible though.

    MAN to Australia.
    Can already be done very easily on Singapore or Emirates and also Malaysian I think.

    I had a look at the flights a few weeks ago and both are OK, but obviously require a change of aircraft, which for a route which needs a stop anyway isn’t really a problem.

    Is a bit of a problem paying for it, but I think too many people were signing up and they were having to upgrade which obviously cost money.

    The prints thing is interesting, basically done by photobox in the UK, photobox get there normal price and then the mark up on the print is split 50/50 between a.net and the photographer. Apparently only been 89 orders so far so its not doing too well at the moment!

    I stood here for a good 40 minutes last time I was at LHR and got a few good shots of aircraft on the other side of the fence but never actually saw an aircraft come across. It did open once just to let a tug come through!

    I did get at the front of the que shortly before that though when they dragged a 777 across, but didn’t have my camera on the front seat.

    When I was there, there was always a police car around when the gates opened, has that always been the case? I can’t see any in these pics.

    I’m sure the UK charters use A320’s on their longer segments such as Cyprus and I’m sure theres less seat pitch than with IC.

    I’ve done 4 hours in an A320 and its a pretty normal flight, 3-3 as with a 757 and I don’t see a problem.

    Nice pic, very sad that we can’t see these colours anymore Qantas are one of the best airlines for giving us some nice specials.

    Wheres “the beach”? Is that some spot in Sydney?

    Looks like its heading in to LCY, I think Swiss operate 146 types into there quite regularly as they are about the biggest STOL aircraft around.

    Great picture anyway, as said would have been nice if it was BA as they sponsor it.

    It used to be free to join and those who joined at the time can continue to gain access at no charge :p , but I think you have to pay for it now.
    Its about 5 (£ or $) a month I think so its not very expensive but it isn’t as nice as being free.

    The Learjet LX-ONE gets about the UK a bit by the looks of it, got it at MAN the other week.
