The DC3 G-AMSV was still at Coventry in March when I took the picture. It is due to go to Weston in Ireland to join the Catalina VR-BPS which moved there from Lee on Solent a couple of years ago.
The two Reeve Electra are both still at Coventry both still basically complete but various parts missing like rudders, engines, props etc.
Your link to the Fotopic gallery doesn’t appear to work. I have plenty of BAC 1-11 pictures (Nearly 2000 slides) and many more prints/scanned images totalling about 8000 +
Use the above link for some. The 1-11 is a favourite of mine as my father used to work for BAC at Hurn.
What a great model that Swordfish is. It looks even better in the air. I remember seeing it parked alongside the real W5856 at Yeovilton air day a few years ago.
Great pictures by the way. Shame about the weather today. !!

Great pictures as always Darren. Thanks for sharing all your others in 2007. I look forward to many more in 2008.
Best wishes and a Happy New Year to you.
I was just thinking of planning a return visit there sometime in the next month. Now I won’t bother. I knew they wouldn’t allow tripods in the past but now it seems from their web site no photography at all.
The Kent Battle of Britain Museum at Hawkinge also bans photography. I haven’t visited there either.

The ex Greenpeace aircraft N423RS ? is still at Lee on Solent as seen from the air about three weeks ago.
VR-BPS was at Lee on Solent and moved to Weston airfield near Dublin about two/three years ago.

Thanks for the comments on the pictures. The Lynx is operated by the Empire Test Pilots School (ETPS) at Boscombe Down.
The Meteor is operated by Martin Baker from Chalgrove for the testing of ejector seats. Note the absent rear canopy for testing seats.
Hope this helps.
Part 3. Quickly edited JPEG’s. Excuse the quality.
Part 2
Great pictures Brian. It was good to meet you during the flightline walk. It was the first time that I had seen the Edwardians fly and what a greeat sight it was. A great end to the show.
Thanks for the info on the JP and Hunter
The last batch of my pictures from Bruntingthorpe including XN584 !!
Does anybody know the ID of the Hunter in two halves or the JP nose on the trailer under a cover.
