Blips are green nowadays.
Credit from the Southend list is that it has just landed back after the air test at 1558.
Unfortunately not but I did see it in the radar at work. Does that count !!!!!!
There was also another Excel B738 due in this afternoon presumably for painting.
VH-XBA has just departed Southend at 1338 (Saturday) for an air test.
The Mayfair Dove G-OPLC was in attendance. The South Coast DC3 was G-DAKK, Viscount G-APEY, Heron G-AORG, Bristol Freighter C-FDFC and Air Atlantique Rapide G-AIDL. I have some pictures from the day which need finding.
A good show but could have been a whole lot better.
Heathrow – If they are landing on runway 27L you can get landing shots from Myrtle Avenue without any hassle. If on 27R there is an unofficial area by the BA Maintenance area but you may get moved.
If it is a weekend and you just want to spot and take numbers most people go to the Heathrow Airport Visitors Centre. It is OK for spotting but not good for photography.
Enjoy your visit.
All I have is a Bruntingthorpe picture taken 4th May 2003. I suspect you are probably looking for some older shots but hope this helps. I have had to send a link to the picture as I keep getting a message saying over quota even though I have just deleted a large number of the older posts.
A work colleague of mine has just uploaded this shot of Mosquito N35MK to the Air Britain picture site.

Some pictures at Brooklands this afternoon. The last of any of the BA Collection to leave Cosford.
It was still there when I visited on 12th May parked outside the American Air Museum and still in the same position on another visit on 29th August.
WT121 and WV106 both taken on the Cobham Hall open day 1st April 2005
Great pictures Gareth. It looks good on the grass too.
Thanks for posting
Does anybody have any pictures of the 1-11 loaded on the trailer at Cosford. Also any up to date pictures of the VC10 ?

The airliner fuselage in the background is G-AWZJ a Trident 3 that used to be at Glasgow airport before being broken up. I beleive there is also another nose section from a Trident 1 as well which is G-ARPP.
Hope this helps
