Only 3 were shot in the air. 2 over bosnia 1 over central serbia, but that is a another disscusion.

Ok i hope to lay this issue to rest once and for all but i doub it.

Serbian MiG29 shot jack all during the NATO bombing campaign. In fact considering state they were in its mirracle that they managed to take off at all. And the 3 that did take off were shot down with loss of two brave mans life.

The F117 was hit by SA3 system, that was localy modyfied and called NEVA (i would not use word “upgrade” )… I actualy know personaly one of the lads who was opperating that particular battery. It was combination of luck, some inventive thinking and knowledge of flight paths for that evening.

Also as far as i know, NATO lost grand total of 4 aircraft during whole campaign.. they where flying 5000m + ALT, which explains why they did not manage to hit jack all when military targets where concearned, when you take account number of sorrties. From 5000m even with all advance electronic a Tractor trailor full of Albanians looks like a serbian tank i gues.

When i say millitary targets i mean thing that we actualy botherd protecting, videos of empty mothballed T34s being hit are not very impresive. Those were either left in depos, or used as bait in a attempt to shoot down Aircraft.

Only branch that did suffer losses is RVJ obviously as 3 MiG29s were shot in the air.. and PVO, since they could not realy hide could they. Every time they became active they also released big “Here we are” signal in form of EM emmisons.

Finally, dont read too much into “sorties” carried out by RVJ… there were no 50 or nowhere near that. Few were carried out, and there were more of a show that something was being done, then an effective millitary opperation. Handfull was carried over kosovo against KLA, and only one was carred out outside soverign borders,, and that was against Airfiled “Dubrave” in eastern Bosina. No serbian planes ever attacked NATO airfileds in Macedonia or Albania. The Appachie that was lost in Albania had nothing to do with Serbs but was work of a very brave and Serbian cause sympatetic tree. A very brave tree in deed. I salute that tree.

In this particular case (i know i was there) we felt as each they passed that more and more targets went from “civilian” to millitary. Things like pharmasutical, (dont remember us ever using chemical/bio warfare to justify this) industry, or well any industry period was suddenly targeted, power gird, transport system, Media outlets, etc.. I would love to see how west would react if we slamed missile into BBC or CNN.

But what was in the past is over, now we are super number 1 Americam friend, yippe yay yee yahooo , spank my **** and call me Billly.
