When UN resolution is in our favour we cling to it… ive herd GWB mention the resolutions that Iraq broke and how thats “illegal”… then in same sentance states that hes prepared to go at it alone .. breaking hte same rukes and doing the same thing that he just accused Saddam of .

It quite clear that US view is that UN rules should apply to everybody but the US.. kinda like the War crimes Court.

I stayed up late so i saw it all live on CNN.. i was watching it before anyway and taliking on the phone with frined in yugoslavia. Many people there were ..well they were remembering the 99 (as was I) and were .. well kindly put.. not sad.

Personally i wasnt emotionaly moved.. i saw plenty of deths in person to be upset by something on tv.. even on the scale as 9/11 was.. My oppinion of it was allways the it is wrong to attack civilians and civilian objects regardless of political reasoning.. If i didnt think that way then it would make me a hypocrat every time I critisised NATOs attack on civilian objects in serbia. If all 4 had slamed into pentagon.. id be thingking differently.. but this way it was wrong thing to do, it was a crime and it was a tragedy… but like I said you wont be seing me wearing black armband on the 11th.

The tru number is still debated.. to date 2500 victoms have been named, and court in Nuremburg used 7000 number in their trials.

The massacre hapend in the aftermath of general Breme’s order that for every 1 soldier germans lost 100 civilians will be shot.
The following are series of monuments raised to remember one of the worst massacres of ww2.

1. The Monument to students and profesors.. When Germans coulnt find enough civilians they went into local highschool and marched the students out… the profesors were given chance to stay but non did.
The monument resembles roman 5 and normal 3 number.. symbolising the class 3 of year 5. the first group to be shot.

2.Monument of Pain. dedicated to women of massacre
3.The Stone Sleaper. for the local villagers
4. Chrystal flower . for the children
5. “100 for 1” memory of the ratio of general breme
6. Monument of Freedom
7. The actual museum bldg.

there are many more .. anybody who get the chance should wisit the place. Its a beautifull city.

Well you cant win them all. And the croatian squad had it in their hands considering the Italians drew, so they can only blame them selfe. But it was expected outcome… Mexico just supprised me … they were brillian in all 3 games and deserved to go… Croatia and Ecuador vere disapointing with 1 win each… And Italy ..well more was expected from such world power.. loosing to Croatia was disapointing for them.. even though they were robbed of 2 clear goals they still should have converted more of their opportunities.. unless they improve finishing they wont go past 2nd round.

Well they have killed quite few people in Bosnia while trying to extract “war crimes suspects” I have family members there who told me some quite distrubing storys of entire towns receiving house searches, people harrased on streets and civilians shoot for being mistaken for suspects.. not that these stories would make it on the CNN or BBC… and i have to tell you IFOR (the American led force in bosina) is made up of British french german and even dutch troops… so as the garryB said… Who the Hell Gave NATO (thats who basicaly are we talking about here) right to setup courts and judge other people when they have commited some of the worst crimes in history of man kind.
Its quite radicilus hypocrasy and after treating half of the world population like ##### .. its simply beyond me how after 9/11 so many people i saw interviewd were saying “Why , What do they have against us”… the level of arogance or just simple disinterest/lack of knowledge about their governments foreign policy in these people i just cant understand.

As for UN international crims tibunal… the idea is good on paper.. but aslong some nations have that idiotic veto power in UN .. meaning they are above the low.. the idea of justice is laughable.
