As an “alien” I’m intrigued by the “4 stars” –

is it a very secret pigeon

    or a “four letter” pigeon?

    Best regards

    A “Nigerian” maybe?

With a Danish-American sounding name! (“Kirt” is usually “Kurt” in Denmark) (Or maybe a numerologists changed his name – for a hefty price?) OK, I’m rambling.

Why pay? A lot of really good info to be had for free still – and this forum is one of them.

    Best regards

For “shooting” aircraft you must go for the SLR – types!

I’ve just missed a wonderful shot, because I thought i knew how to handle a Canon Powershot G3 (On loan from the air force). I’ve used it for 3 months and appreciate the excellent lens. It can take a string at around one a second – if it is happy to do so! Then “load” the pictures. But you never know the exact time it is “happy”.

It was a Lynx. The pilot retiring at 62 on his last flight. Two new giant firetrucks made a rather heavy shower he airtaxied through. That digital “B******” fired before, after and the blue sky when i looked to see what the hell was happening. I had left my oldfashioned Canon in the car.

I’ll go home now – get drunk – and hang myself. 😉

P.S. Luckily there was other photographers present. They thought they got some good shots. I will try to get them and post as a warning!

    Hello Nige!

I believe I have copies of those two – at my parents loft. I will check tomorrow evening. Scan and e-mail, if you like.

Why do smokers always throw cigarette ends in the urinals!?

They get wet and are very hard to light up. 🙁

Ah Kye! Happy days when we looked at (and ducked!) Buccs attacking our small (3-storey) “Tower” in the 70’ies and 80’ies.

(PPRUNE had a great thread “military aircrew” – “How fast would a BUCC go?”)

Anyway, this was a lucky shot (usually 1 in a 100 for me). Frecce Tricolori EKYT Aalborg 10’th June 2001 “inside” a barrel roll. Tamron 200 – 400 at 400, Canon 5000. The Reds and Patrouille was there as well.

I use an older? program: “Professor Franklin” instant photo effects, that I happened to get with my borrowed scanner. Includes an “Intelligent internet save” option, where you “slide” a ruler to “size” your picture.

(and get it below this forum limit)

    Best regards

    PS. Nice one trumper!
