If they arnt as lazy about the other aircarft there including PAK-FA why would they be lazy about PAK-DA.
Because the exterior of PAK FA is pretty well known, while it’s much easier to redraw the 40-years ola T-4MS, than make your own fictional PAK DA placeholder.
This is simple – lazy designer of UAC used T-4MS as a “cool looking” placeholder.
Came Across this PAK-DA design from UAC 2015 Annual Report
It’s not PAK DA: http://testpilot.ru/russia/sukhoi/t/4/ms/t4ms_e.htm
I didn’t get it. Why should the system, which main purpose is to engage and shoot down PGM’s – just run from them?!
Doesn’t explain the collapsed bow of the nose.
Collapsed?! It’s just a torn off paint, due to the high air pressure in this area of the nose cone.
P.S. I strongly suggest you to pay a visit to your ophthalmologist.
have you never visited the real champion (seen as we are talking about ‘full retard’):
I visited it and while it’s far from being really qualititve military site – it’s not a competitor for F-16.net, in terms of arrogance mixed with ignorance.
Doesn’t that apply to all forums – in all languages?
F-16 is outperforming any other forum with a score of 144:0. It’s a Champion, unbeaten and uncontested.
I find F-16.net is quite good for info about American aircraft,
The keyword American. But when it comes to Russian or Chinese – these “people” go full retard and demonstrating they don’t have even a slightest clue on things they’re talking about.
And what’s the problem with F-16.net?
Maybe the fact it’s full of very arrogant and completely ignorant, in the same time, idiots?
Or likely a combination of both, shaping is often more useful for wider frequency range
There are transparent RAM actually. There is a very thin reflective indium tin oxydie layer too, otherwise there would be no point to make angular shape for EOTS window
How about its transparency in IR spectrum?
Both the links you pointed to were removed…

They weren’t. He just posted the wrong ones:

You finally realised what the whole principle of stealth design is about?
I finally realised that you’re another one fanboy who don’t know the basics.
Directing radar down and away in a limited number of directions… it’s called planform alignment. The only radars that should get a direct view at an EOTS surface will be below the aircraft within 20km or so… ie. dead radars.
Yeah, coz fanboys like you know nothing about tactical and target data exchange in IADS and AF, since 1960s, as well as about tactics of aerial ambushes. But since fanboys, like you, love to simplify the reality to the level of primitive duel – it’s pretty hard for them to realise that EOTS ‘LO’ enclosure has its own disadvantages in comparison to the ball OLS covered by the RAM and used only in partuicalar and very specific situations, such as strong ECM environment or ambush missions.
Thanks for the post though, maybe next time you could ask someone to write an intelligent one.
Better, maybe next time you won’t write such a nonsense, which only demonstrates the level of your ignorance and fanboizm?
No, it’s sits within a LO shaped, reflective enclosure. Radar does not reach the internal components. enclosure
You do realise that, especially in the case of the facet design, lowering RCS in one aspect, you invitably increase it in the other aspect? Your “LO shaped enclosure” will be LO for one radar, but will be a shining sun for any other, placed not straight in front of the aircraft.
Not the T-50 and besides, if the OLS is not in use when the T-50 is trying to find enemy stealth aircraft then the pilot is doing something wrong.
Absolutely idiotic statement.
But it seems to me TR1 stroke a nerve with you Scar, when he posted HIS point of View on Cristian Ortodoks and Religion as a whole.
Couldn’t imagine i will ever quote Peregrinefalcon, but:
