Directing radar down and away in a limited number of directions… it’s called planform alignment. The only radars that should get a direct view at an EOTS surface will be below the aircraft within 20km or so… ie. dead radars.

Yeah, coz fanboys like you know nothing about tactical and target data exchange in IADS and AF, since 1960s, as well as about tactics of aerial ambushes. But since fanboys, like you, love to simplify the reality to the level of primitive duel – it’s pretty hard for them to realise that EOTS ‘LO’ enclosure has its own disadvantages in comparison to the ball OLS covered by the RAM and used only in partuicalar and very specific situations, such as strong ECM environment or ambush missions.
