The ‘new’ ATGM for Mi-28NM that was mentioned earlier, now is turning out to be a good but old and not F&F Khrizantema. :stupid::apologetic:

The Russian submarine has a missile silo door open. Is this common practice when sailing in international waters?

    Yes.

Guys please, it is obvious neither of the two clowns on the last page are making even a slight effort to follow the pakfa program, and when you quote them people have to read their nonsense even if they are an ignore list!

The article mentions that the request calls for a single helo hangar. That’s surprising considering that maritime UAV capability is pretty much a necessity. The request should have mentioned a hangar big enough for one 10 ton helo and two UAVS the size of Camcopters.

On corvette?! 1heli+1-2UAV is a typical airwing for frigate or destroyer, but definetly not for corvette.

May be they should look at the new 20386 project? Would be cool to decrease the cost of such a type per vessel for both our fleets through the larger numbers ordered in one bunch.

This thing is easily the lowest profile fighter out there. And yes, that is an integral part of low RCS
    Look at that..

Again just opinions here , I would rather see what officials RuN has to say on it and make an opinion

Situation with 9m96 on 20380 is a fact. Your belief is opinion.

Any official statements from Almaz , RuN or MOD to believe these ? or Just your opinions again ?

Dismissal of A-A head 5 days after presentaion dedicated to the “new missiles for Navy AD”, with formulation “as person lost his credability” is more then official. https://lenta.ru/news/2016/08/11/neskorodov/

But of course, you may not belive to all these signs and to insiders. Only A-A is talking truth, yeah – that’s why its head was kicked due to the loss of credability.

They were just displayed then but it was not ready , 9M96 was proposed as part of S-300PMU3

I was there and remember pretty well that originaly 9M96 was introduced as a part of S-300PMU2. Period.

So there is NO S-400 on ships – only a missile which is intended to be used with S-400, as well as for other systems.

How far is End of year , just 2 months lets wait and see 🙂

What do you hope to see? Another one commissioned ship – with unknown real status of its AD, like it was with 20380s? They may commission whatever they want, to save their face.

Thats your opinion , there can be many opinions but facts dont change

Yeah, facts don’t cahnge – 9M96 and 40N6 are still paper missiles, flying and serial-produced only in those reports you’ve mentioned. At least ATM.

It originally came out as part of S-400 and branched out to S-350

As i’ve told before, originally it came ouot as part of S-300, at MAKS-1999 which i remember pretty well. After that it was declared as part of S-400, then Redut and the last was S-350.

Gorshkov commisioning this Nov is mentioned by DM last month http://tass.com/defense/891844

Yeah, just like the same trials have been done on 20380 and few corvettes were commissioned in the late 2000’s…until the moment in 2015 when it was admited that all these years 9M96 wasn’t working as intended.

You need to check Alamaz Antey report for past 2 years as well as recent ones , some info

    http://bastion-karpenko.ru/S-400/

As i’ve said, there was a scandal with falser reports and promises, when Ashurbeily was a CEO. So, i don’t believe to A-A’s reports anymore.

    9M96 are part of S-400 plus http://alexeyvvo.livejournal.com/153950.html

No. 9M96 is a “cross-platform” missile which should work with a great variety of complexes, such as: S-300PMU1/2, S-400, S-350, Redut and Polyment-Redut.

AFAIK 9M96 trials on Gorskhov is done and the frigate should be commisioned by end of the year.

What a wonderful world you’re living in. 🙁

2010-11 report 40N6 already went through 15 trials but they took long time to fix the issues as well as some delay was due to non-availability of target.

Looks like you’re not aware of the previous scandal with false reports and promises from ex-head of A-A Ashurbeily. That guy promised 40N6 to be in service every fckn year, since 2010. But it all turned out to be a fraud. A-A isn’t very lucky with its CEO’s.

Right now I do not see any issues with S-400 system either on land or on ships

S-400 on ships?! Where? What ships?

I can try as Russian is not my native language and going through archive via translater is not for the faint hearted.

As a headup check Rogozin twitter he mentioned the success of new SAM for navy
    https://twitter.com/DRogozin/status/763650389111607296

Pssst, psssst. A little hint: the head of A-A Neskorodov has been fired right after this “presentation of the new generation defense missiles for the Navy”. ROFL :highly_amused:
And BTW, Rogozin is the biggest dork and liar in our government – NEVER believe to this journalamer. I can bet, his IQ may be expressed by the two-digit number, but in the same time he’s full of sh!t, bravado and arrogance.
