The Alamaz news on 9M96 was denied by MOD

Care to provide the link on MoD’s statement? Because this “rumour” was confirmed by some insdiers in our Russian MIC community.

9M96 has been inducted some years back ,

Only on paper. Try to use G-Translate to read this article: https://lenta.ru/news/2016/08/11/9m96fail/

40N6 has been inducted this year it went through some protracted testing phase and delays also non availability of targets to test

I wouldn’t be so sure.

I was just talking about situation with 9M96 – not about who is guilty and why.

40N6 has yet to appear beyond testing, but 9M96 has (in the navy) been around for some time. And for land use, I presume S-350 has undergone some trials by now, not to mention the earlier S-300 mini 9M96 tubes.

    Simply read this: http://forums.airbase.ru/2016/08/t93233–u-almaz-anteya-valyatsya-rakety.7310.html
BTW, those mini-tubes on S-300PMU1/2 were only mock-ups. And this still didn’t change, since the day when I saw them for the 1st time at MAKS-1999.

40N6 capability atleast in export model brochure has been significantly reduced , 40N6 range is around 400-450 km and altitude of interception max is 185 km , It remains the only new missile in S-400 series while the others have existed for long time.

40N6 and 9M96 are both new and still exist only formally, but not really.

No probably not. Was musing on the asinine nature of the high handed views of some people, on the disaster that is Syria.

Guys, you do realise this disaster became a disaster only because of Western and your “allies” Saudis and Turks “help” which sponsored, fueled and encouraged these so-called “moderate” Snack Bars, as well as ISIS? It’s your “regime-change” operation supported the mess in Syrian provinces and has led to this disaster. You like it or not.

Finally, how this cartoon differs from these ones?

Now plz, plz, stop the stupidity that is Tu-160M2… They are already “correcting” its production numbers.

Agree. It’s hard to imagine more stupid thing than re-opened production line of the aircraft which was designed more than 40 years ago and been known as very expensive and non-friendly to serial production.

Russian MoD press briefing which was held earlier due to the multi-national terrorist threat faced by Russia and Syria. Video with proper English subtitles.

ROFL LMAO and LOL on the part where he’s making a bold hint about ‘invisible planes’ and ‘disappointing reality’. 😀

Nothing wrong with wishful thinking, so long as it’s not wishful non-thinking. I’m sure the people of Kazakhstan will have lots to think about in the coming years.

Yeah, looking at such a bright examples of regime-change operations in Iraq, Libya, Syria and Ukraine – they have a lot to think about. But something(may be it’s my IRL experience with these people?) tells me that little to no of their thoughts are in favor of US.

After all, by your ‘liberal’ Western standards, 97,7% of votes on elections is too high for true democracy, rrright? You love to describe such countries as authoritarian regimes, and then invade them.

    Yeah, it WAS.
