    Sad news. The first chief-commander of RuAF, General of the Army Petr Deinekin, has passed away today at the age of 79.((

    R.I.P. to this man who was in the head of RuAF in the most hard and grim times in its history.

    Dunno what “bigger picture” you’re talking about – i think everyone is aware about the new PGM’s which currently under development by KTRV. What i’m talking about is the particular words said by the head of Gefest. I’m not against advertising, but i’m against such a stupid advertising based on the obviously false bold statements. This is a VERY bad publicity. And this is very sad if the head of Gefest don’t understand this.

    The question here is not in SVP capabilities, but in belittling the capabilities of PGM in general.

    Well it would not be the first time a Vendor/Developer buttercream his stuff would it.

    As i said before, blatant twisting and exaggerating the facts is not the best way to promote your product. If he would say something like “LGBs, being the most numerous type of the tactical PGM in RuAF, are not all-weather capable” there was no problem. But this man is obviously and blatantly lying – that’s a fact.

    Your first statement is simply false

    The only false statement is your statement about my “false” statement. He said about all PGM’s in general, not about “legacy” or some other particular types, as LGBs, for example. This generalization made his statement false.

    @Marcellogo

    I don’t understand what exactly is making you lose your temper in that way.
    The head of Gefest is promoting his own product so he would highlight its strongpoints and not talking about its eventual limitations.

    Promoting, by providing completely false information about PGM’s all-weather abilities?! Not the best way of promotion. The part about bombing moving targets with unguided munitions looks extremely doubtful, as well. How the hell operator should calculate and predict the impact point? And what will happen if target will simply stop or turn away from it???

    Again, this time with text highlighted.

    — Многие эксперты утверждают, что для неуправляемого боеприпаса нельзя создать такое же точное целеуказание, как для высокоточного. И точность поражения достигается только за счет могущества боеприпаса. Верно ли это?

    — Управляемые бомбы соизмеримы по мощности и калибру с неуправляемыми, но их применение ограничено условиями погоды. В тумане, в дождь они ничего не видят, их нельзя применить. А неуправляемую бомбу можно применить при любой погоде.

    СВП-24 позволяет поражать движущиеся цели?

    — Даже охотник стреляет из ружья с упреждением. Если наземный оператор наблюдает цель, то он может дать автоматизированное целеуказание с соответствующим упреждением.

    WHAT THE F**CK he’s talking about??? Can’t believe such a bull**** is coming out of the mouth of the head of Gefest.
