Igla, as well as its further development – Verba, has no imaging sensors.
Here is your 6th flying prototype. 😀
Not entirely sure if it is photoshopped beyond the bort number, but here is a nice pic;
Yeah, it was reflected and adjusted by its gamma + added some cloudy background. Here is how it was looking originally..jpg)
Holodomor, as intentional act of genocide, is a myth. There was just a huge famine in 1932-1933 that affected many regions of USSR – from Caucasus to Siberia. Particularly, my own family(by my father’s bloodline) suffered from this famine too. But we’re not Ukrainians at all.
So it’s very funny for me to see how some Ukrainians “patriots” are trying to make this famine their Exclusive Genocide and Pseudo-Patriotical Fetish. Unlike the political repressions, that famine was just a huge and stupid mistake made by that village idiot Stalin – one among many others.
IIRC, originally, ATF was seen as an air-superiority fighter with a decent air-to-ground capability.
As the next air superiority fighter to replace the F-15 (135:97; 92:16), the (most likely) single-seat, two-engine (41:41; 33:102) ATF would also have inherent air-to-ground capability (92:16), a trait by now understood as essential. (By 1986 even F-15Cs were destined to carry bombs as part of the F-15 MSIP, and the F-15E was designed specifically for air-to-ground missions; ‘so much’ ,for single mission F-15 air superiority fighters!)
THE SEARCH FOR AN ADVANCED FIGHTER: A HISTORY FROM THE XF-108 TO THE ADVANCED TACTICAL FIGHTER
That vision was so strong that initially it was called F/A-22: http://www.dtic.mil/dtic/tr/fulltext/u2/a435449.pdf
TBH, i hate to refer to Sputnik, but i didn’t find any other news-article in English.
Russia Starts Flight Tests of ‘Orion’ Reconnaissance Drone
Actually, there is info that it will be an armed-reconnaissance UAV of MALE class.
Some basic specs, according to developer + Russian defense industry media:
TOW = 1200kg (dunno if it’s N or M)
Payload = 300kg
Endurance = 24h
Speed = 140-250km/h
Wingspan = 16.2m
Length = 8m
Height = 3.1m
Service ceiling = 8000m
This has the same figures; http://www.defenceaviation.com/2008/01/su-pakfa-a-russian-stealth-fighter.html
And?! This is the same kind of crap.
18 500 kg empty and Mtow 37 000 kg.

No need to post this kind of crap.
I don’t. Dik_A is a trustworthy person and i dont have any reason to doubt him.
Ok, thx. Will be waiting for further details.
Maybe you should read before asking? Scar is talking about Azohen Vey, not T-50. Azohen Vey is a person, not a T-50…
Hi, Berkut. Do you have some additional info on this rumor? Thx in advance.
Can you provide a link?if true it’s not that suprising

And what about PAK-FA???
We won’t tell you. This is a conspiracy of silence against you.
We don’t know, really. There is no any news yet.
UPD: Actually, there is some news. Looks like the insider with a nickname Azohen Vey has been detained by FSB. =
The F119 engine weighs about 4 tonnes, so is in the same weight class as the F100 and F110.
You probably meant 4000 pounds?
Yeah, because shooting airliners down by mistake is something unheard of. As well as broken IFF on Ukrainian systems(captured few weeks before the tragedy by rebels), poorly serviced or not serviced at all for more than 20 years. I remember our Tu-154 that was shot down by Ukrainian SAM S-200 over Black sea in 2001… As well as Iranian Flight 655 that was shot down by Murican cruiser over Persian Gulf.
And now someone is trying to convince that all these accidents aren’t mistakes? Pure BS.
Enough of this ****. That day rebels claimed they shot down An-26 that fell near Torez. Until a few hours later it was discovered that “An-26” was Boeing 777.
