Singapore also done that….trying to find the link in code one magazine……
i got the form and this time is getting more stricter…….
under the form said:
badges issued are strictly non-transferable. As security is enforced, identity checks will be conducted. Please bring along your photo ID for secuirty checks.
The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to visitors who are not proper business attire, without business cards AND to minors below 18 years old
i will be in the 1st public day…..but scared tat the trade day they need to check the business card….
more towards singapore i think as there is a proposal of joint ventre of aesa radar
man if this is gonna have a deal, which means is 1 of the largest Strike eagle operator in the world
we don’t look at offsets….we more on tech transfer………
F-15T is not call Teagle……is means Temasek
Fave: Typhoon
ideal: F-15T
practical: Rafale
RSAF NGF procuremnt is all about tech transfer and training……….i personally wants Typhoon, but ideal wise is F-15T, but practical wise is Rafale……..
BTW, the pattern of singapore procuremnt is this:
hunter replace by F-16 in air defense, then F-16 replace A-4 for grd attack roles. NGF is gonna be mostly for air defense
Old news…not updated….
sorry guys to disappoint you for SU fans…….RSAF selected among this 3 planes : Rafale, F-15T and Typhoon.
given the super hornet’s serious range/payload/speed deficiencies, i’ve been wondering about the possibility of mounting CFTs on the F/A-18E/F. they could easily be mounted on the upper fuselage/wing blend on the top part of the plane. it would free up the inner wing pylons on longer missions for much more ordnance.
since so many other modern jets have them — F-15s, F-16blk60s, Typhoons, Rafales, even Su30s — why not the “super” hornet?
It has evolve from “normal” hornet to “super” hornet, therefore, i don’t think is necessary to put CFT to “super” or “normal” hornets. It adds more drag to it rather than agility…..uless you want to refurbished the whole frame into like MiG29C/SMT?
othere jets includes the Gripen also…..
This is interesting………like F-16 Blks upgrades…..
Uhh 60 million/helicopter. I assume this is for training, but man 60mn! That’s as much as a F-16C/Dblk50 and for a helicopter thats as much to maintain, and it’s combat record is uninspiring, it’s very slow and unmanouverable.
I would rather invest into something like Mi-28N or PAH-2 Tiger or even the Ka-52.
We did consider the Tiger before we select the AH-64D……this two are head-ons during selection…..
And btw we don’t choose mass production and cheap products 😉
So?
Even now F-15C/Ds in later gonna upgraded with off-boresight capabilities and AESA radar, so is gonna be pretty fare together……
oh no not the F-15, just because is combat proven………..
