Though logically Typhoon is feasible for their Air Defense role…but since they had a good relation with sweden…..thats another story……

I personally prefer the looks of the Rafale, but I like the DA1 prototype with the two-grey paint. Definitely the prettiest Typhoon ever..

I alway keep thinking Typhoon is a heavily modified twin engine F-16XL 😀

OK but would the RSAF consider the A-50 as well? As you know A-4SU Super Skyhawks based in Singapore were retired last year while a few still solider on in France as trainers.

Yes the A-4SU is retired except for a few based in France for AJT training…..the trainer competition result will determined the selection for AJT. In fact during the last mth RSAF open house there is a model of T-50 and booth there and Bae Hawk and the model booth.

That will really have to see what aircraft we get to replace S211.

actually we are looking at T-50 for AJT replacement of TA-4SU…..so there might be a slight chance of it……though tentatively F-35 is “supposed” to replace F-16….

KT-1 is more suitable for CAS role 😮 i think F/A-50 is meant for point defense 😮
