Lots of “one presumes”,”probably” and “possibly” in your response Andy. Why don’t we just wait and see what the RAFM’s strategy is on publicising the recovery, instead of rushing to express outrage?
Andy, I’m not sure that any images have been, or indeed can be, banned from anywhere. As far as I can tell, Bruce has simply responded to a polite request from the RAFM to remove them from this site.
Do the Red Star Rebels still exist as such? I saw one of the aircraft advertised for sale recently, and I’m not aware of them having made any airshow appearances yet.
Good news about the Gannet. But a shame that, as is often the case with star items at Oshkosh, it is down to be parked up all week after arrival. Presumably this is so that it doesn’t interfere with the several dozen aerobatic acts and the massed formations of RVs and T-6 s that comprise the daily airshows there nowadays.
