They carry military serials and are service-operated, thus do not come under the auspices of the CAA.
Not this year.
The Horsemen are appearing at Battle Creek, Michigan over the same weekend.
I guess that means no Steve Hinton at Legends either.
Tragic news. Reports suggest an accident just after takeoff in his Bearcat at Breckenridge this afternoon. π
this annoyed me greatly when i saw it, its not Art, its MURDER! π
Murder? Really?
The RAF purchased, IIRC, 365 Tornados. How many are likely to end up in preservation? 20? Perhaps even 30? Exactly what do you think should happen to the remainder?
If one example ends up being melted down to produce a bell rather than for beercans, is that really murder?
UK release date is set for June 6th.
For the DVD, or is there to be a cinema release?
And it’s likely that MK732 will return where she belongs.
……..again.
Poor thing. π

Wellington or Manchester would be my guess..
Highly unlikely to have been a Manchester if the July 1940 date for the newspaper is correct.

It seems Air Fighter Academy based at Heringsdorf (Usedom) is constantly enlarging their collection. they do have by now (only airworthy and frequently flown ac):
HA 1112 Buchon, BΓΌcker Jungmann, NAA AT 6, Boeing Stearman, Polikarpov Po 2, Yakovlev Yak 9 UM, De Havilland D.H. 82 Tiger Moth and now Supermarine Spitfire T9 and NAA TF 51. (there would have been P 51 D BBD as well, if not crashed last year)
I would say a quite impressive collection, especially regarding the short time since starting it. Well worth visiting if in the vicinity.
Overall good collection, but poor website (at least so far, lol).
Michael
Aren’t they already trying to flog off the Buchon?

Very nice Rob, a worthy culmination of this 45-year project.
