From the published listings it would appear so far that ARCo/HFL are not sending any aircraft to the Biggin Hill event, and BHHH are not doing this event at Duxford.

That ’17 was passed from one prospective operator to another over many years. I’m not convinced there was ever a serious attempt to getting it flying though.
I still cringe every time I spot the electric doorbell as Christopher Plummer and Ian McShane leave the house.
Of course all of this is irrelevant. In about 6 weeks time it will make its final landing at Doncaster, and the only way it is ever going anywhere after that is in a large number of skips.
To the average visitor none of that really matters. It still comes down to the question, why would you need two Vulcans at Coventry Airport, regardless of which particular group’s auspices they come under?

Its the awful, cringeworthy name given to the CWHM Lancaster on its tour last year to make it sound cuddly and cute and to appeal to the masses.

I’ve personally stood in a warehouse in the U.S. and looked down the rows of Merlin engine cores in containers. The supply is still out there, but it won’t last forever.
The thought process is plain to see, to prolong the gravy train for as long as possible.
