I have shown no ill will or spite in any of my postings, and I actually enjoy a good debate, I was posed questions by Indian and replied in a cilivilsed way. However if we check your previous postings we come up with some rather uncivilised language dont we…..?
we already got what we needed – Musharaff has imposed a ceasefire and kept his dogs under control, so we are having a lot of fun completing the fence and hunting down and shooting like mad dogs whatever jihadi types we come across.
and we got it without crossing the IB 🙂 heh heh.
ofcourse the jihadis are p***ed and gunning for the good
General now. but thats his and the US’s problem 😉
Or has the hunter become the hunted? This is just todays news!
“At least five Indian police officers have been killed in an attack by suspected militants in Indian-administered Kashmir.”

In which case we can all disarm and go home? Put all our resources into human welfare? Both sides can live peacfully forever now right?
all US eqpt including ships are heavily used because they have
intense training and deployment cycles. so they will have “issues” of life soon enough 😀 I note the AH1 has a 1980s
attack suite and TOW (not hellfire) missiles. Again a generation behind the kind of eqpt india will put into the LCH 😀 tsk tsk. You’d be better off buying stuff from congo or mauritania which would be much lightly used.
trying to a make a virtue out of your beggary is amusing.
Is that really so? In which case you better tell, Spain, Portugal, Jordan, Israel, Italy, Turkey, and a host of other countries that they are beggers and that the equipment they just got from the US has “life issues”….
Yes, all the above countries operate modern and sophisticated armed forces and like Pakistan are in line for refurbished former US AH-1s, UH-1s, P-3Cs , C-130s and F-16s……….
I do not wish to et into an argument with you on this as everyone knows on this forum (apart from you it seems) that excess US defence equipment is some of the one of the most cost effective ways of purchsing aircraft
well pakthunder, india is not really interested in peanuts like bullet proof jackets for COIN forces, USED C-130, USED AH-1, USED . so yes, not much will be purchased. we also PAY for our purchased not roll over and
do the wuff wuff MNNA thing for free baksheesh.14 ANTPQ-37 are on order and they had a 24-month lead time
from what I read. Some units were transferred from US army stocks in the interim. I believe the real deliveries started sometime in 2004 also. ask the ISI how many are in service. The local WLR is also coming along well in tests.
p.s. I seriously doubt the PAC-3 thing unless its bundled
in with a Arrow2 deal. by itself its not a great system.
Yes, Indian “USED” AH-1s and P-3Cs which are still better then anything equivelent in South Asia, rather sad is it not? If Pakistan is able to get decent kit and lets face it AH-1 CNITE , P-3C and C-130E does count as decent, at bargain basement prices due to US Forces downsizing, that makes me extremely happy, especially compared to the prices the Russians and French are charging….
“The US has complete control of Paks nuke facilities “
In which case India being a nuclear power should have nothing to be afraid of then should it!? 😀
All those missiles and nuclear armed jets have US guys sitting behind them, hey everythings gonna work out, India can disarm completely and we can all pack up and go home, hell, why not just walk over the border and solve all your problems of “cross border trouble” , “Pakistani sponsored terrorism” etc
No!?
PT.. Finders are in active service now..
I read somewhere only two have been delivered so far, maybe I am wrong!?
Orion Talks Underway In India
Aviation Week’s article on the sale of P-3s to India including C-130Js. It talks about sending an F-16 to Aero India 2005, and it seems that the a/c will come from Singapore. Perhaps the F-16D Blk 52+ from 145 Sqn? So its confirm that at least Blk 50/52s will be offered for the fighter competition.
I hate to break this to you but the US have supposedly had the F-16, C-130, P-3C and PAC-3 on “offer” to India for the last 3 years if we are to believe Indian news reports, but nothing ever seems to happen. The sole purchase made by India (since lifting of arms sanctions) has been 6 fire locating radars, even all these are not in service yet. Despite supposedly being able to buy US weapons for the last (almost!) 4 years.
In a years time we will hear the same news reports and nothing ever happens.
No I dont wish to upset anyone, but you have to admit for a so called “strategic partner” there seems to be little in terms of defensive or offensive weaponry going Indias way from the US
Thanks Tiger and Steve
Yeah, thats the new CSAR MI-17s for PAFs dedicated CSAR unit
GA
Theres your proof!
Thanks Yahoo/Star for posting that PAF chose Chinese avionics for the first set of 50 plus FC-1s despite knowing that they are inferior to Western ones. You also disproved your past claims on the Grifo. Good show. 🙂
The first batch will have Chinese avionics and the later batches will have an un defined wetsern system, what seems to be the major problem here? Lets wait and see but getting the plane in service is the priority at the momment, anyone who knows anything about aircraft will realise the platform is no longer the most important part of an air defence system, its what we put inside it
In other words, you ain’t got the proof for your claim. 😀
BTW, I find it amusing that I’m hearing about gullibility from Mr. PAF “I paid millions for F-16s but got soyebans in return” Thunder
The difference being I dont deny PAF got done over by the Americans, its you who cant admit to India having the same done to it by the Russians
Didn’t you read the first link? Am I deceitful or are you dyslexic? Hmmm….
BTW, since we are talking about gullibility on the other thread, if you believe that the IAEA folks are there just to “test”, I have this bridge over Thames that I’d like to sell you :diablo: :dev2:
You will find that international regulations require ALL nuclear powers to allow IAEA inspectors in, try and do your home work before letting your fantasys take over….
H.Khan, the man who was proven to be a liar, is hallucinating again
I will take his word over yours anyday!
You can look it up, a few years back the Russians first told India they would not sell Pakistan the choppers. Then they said they would only sell them for civlian purposes.
The next thing you know we have a picture of the SSG roping down from some MI-17s
If you seriously think the Russians did not pull a fast one on you, then you are almost naive as the Indian MOD! 😀
Since when as letting IAEA inspectors into some of our nuclear facilities the same as letting the Americans in!? Again, you show a remarkable tendency for twisiting words and deceit
