    Flown on those SAS DC-9’s many times…

    Where SAS the only airline to operate the short body version…? can’t think of the model designation, but I do know they were called the sports model.

    Oh and I know there was an article in AW this month about SAS splitting, well how are long distance flights going to be handled? All from one hub, or would each have it’s own long-haul (SAS-Braathens wouldn’t however since it’s going to be a 737 only fleet)

    At the moment only the E170/E190 is a match for the F100. The A318, B736 and B717 are similarly sized but probably to heavy for the tasks of the F100 and E170/E190.

    Good point however they also operate 18 RJ85’s.

    B738, because of the winglet (not sure whether they do it for the 737-700 or not, The BBJ but commercial?)

    A F100 or any fokker would not make any sense for LH, they buy regional jets from Bombardier already.
