To avoid the scanner problem get a digital cam, not a ceapo one tho, a high qaulity, good zoom and youll never have to deal with the scanner, but its a question of money

Well, if both the pilot and ramp worker got a 10% pay cut say, the pilot would give up more than the ramp worker, but hey everyone wants to benefit the most or give up the least.

I thought they were good, and yes the scanner can be the cause of poor quality, but i dont see what your complaining about, at least you can say ‘ i took these’!

Are you saying then it is fair for ground crew or check-staff to have to give up less then pilots?

A pilot is more skillfull and has had a much harder training, along with the huge expensis of training, so they deserve to have a much higher pay, along with the responsibilty of hundreds of peoples lives, why should one occupation within AC have to suffer more than others, why cant every one make equal amouts of conccesions?

Well Saab 2000 they might be willing to take them but not to the extent that AC wants them to, like in the original report it claims that pilots make up 10% of the workforce and 22% of the payroll, but they are meant to take 31% of the conccesions, so it can viewed in different ways.

Well there arent many trijets around anymore, well atleast not to the extent that they were used, and there numbers are dwindling fast… Swiss are replacing there MD11 fleet with new A340’s and im sure NWA is planning on retiring there DC10’s once things start to look better. Nearly every airline operated a long haul trijet at some point, but new and more efficient planes are around now, but nonetheless its a shame to see any aircraft that looks good to disapear, but im sure they will be around for another 10 years!
