wish I were bit closer to have seen this…the weather in Co. Durham was abysmal…certainly not suitable for climbing on the bonnie and running down half the country.
later in the year perhaps.
lovely pictures makes me want one, have no where to keep it, no money, no flying licence, havent flown since the ATC days in the 70’s but I WANT ONE.
thanks for the photos
Chris
Hi
remember this well
I managed to tape about 4 or 5 of these at the time of their broadcast..ME262, Komet, ME1110 and the V weapons, might also have had the one on the JU 52.
I agree an excellent series, packed full of information and original footage…and gothic music.
If you find a DVD source please publish it on here cos i’d be interested
cheers
Chris
oh i’ll definitely be synthesising the data once the topic runs out of legs….
its just coming in too fast at the mo to keep up with….not that I want it to slow down… mind, or that I am complaining.
Thank you everyone
Chris

Chris
just one
a Mosquito MK FB VI – have always wanted one…..
and if money was no object I’d love an airfield to fly it from…and a pilot’s licence for that matter.
but as with all such dreams the cost of all the above is way way beyond my extremely meagre means…..I’ll stick with the Triumph Bonneville
Hmmm, Judy Geeson š
suddenly I feel rather compelled to buy the boxed set :diablo:
Chris
an excellent film and ends as the chaps above have discussed a scramble, a dogfight and “they Can’t take the spitfires” and off into the sunset -so to speak.
…another excellent film is due to come out on 30 Mar 2008…Angels One Five.
Don’t know about a second spit but there was I believe a Hurricane Model: Mk. I

a healthy year for all the veterans who have been interviewed so far.
I second that
A publisher would be rather splendid
a job doing something I want to do would be tops
