Pakistan should ditch the idea of buying brand new f16s. If the emtional attachment to the f16s has to be nursed further then get the americans to buy the new ones and take the used ones ( as many as possible ) provided all fly home to Pak before Bush leaves office.

Brand new f16s give no advantage whatsoever in the pak-india equation ( or any other one for that matter ) better to the save the money and spend it on further improving the jf-17 and buy f10 ( j10s ) from china.
