If the KGS flight in question is on a thursday, it will be operated by XLA 737-800, as TF-ELY is returning to lessor at beginning of october. The only other NCL-KGS flight is operated by Flyjet late on saturday nights.

On flyjet, I see they have swapped the based unit from EA to EB!

I think you will find that Flyjet have 2 working 757 aircraft, EB is currently flying from MAN.

    To clarify things a little.

Flyjets own 757 G-FJEA is back based at NCL and has been since 4th September, first departure being FJE600 to CFU. The Finnair a/c was used during July and August, operating under XLA flight numbers on the FJE routes to cover for the absense of FJE’s own aircraft. The reason it operated under XLA flight codes was that FJE have signed a lengthy contract with XLA for NCL operations.

FJE’s aircraft is now here to stay, operating the rest of the summer programme and continuing operations for 6 flights per week in the winter.

Finnair aircraft OH-LBS (the one with excel airways titles) positioned out to Helsinki on sunday night, leaving BO to continue XL flying.

Does anyone know what the situation is with lighters? Obviously because its liquid I presume that they are a NO, however how are those pax who smoke able to light up once airside? Are matches allowed?

I also see that all air crews are now using the plastic carrier bags and not being allowed to take their usual ‘trolley’ style bags through.

Are XL planning to expand their base at NCL for next summer? Tuesdays are not possible without a 4th a/c, as the schedule shows that the 2 xl a/c and 1 FJE (if they are returning) are already fully busy without any extra flights being added.
